Welcome to Nicole's March 3rd 3PM EDT BYOC Slow Scrap Chat... (Lucky #3 today) 3/3 at 3! LOL... I don't know if you have seen Nicole's March BYOC Art Crush 60 collection, but if you have, you will find it is full of wonderful flowers and spring time items that will be perfect for today's slow scrap. Today's slow scrap is going to use the template by Nicole that you can find EXPIRED. It is a letter decorating photoless page. The template is a lot of fun to play with!!! It is using a great block font "BEBAS Kai". It will allow you to have fun with papers and clustering elements to create a beautiful page. We cannot wait to see what you create with Nicole's Template! You will have until 4PM EST Saturday March 4th to complete your page. Everyone who completes their page according to the instructions will receive a coupon to Nicole's store. Please post your completed layout in The Lilypad gallery under Speed Scraps and link here in this thread so we can make sure to give you credit. --------------------------------------------------------------- GALLERY RULES: Layouts must contain at least 80% NBK products. Uploads must be less than 250k. List all credits; no off-site linking allowed. Your page must be a new page for this slow scrap and cannot be used for any other challenge or slow scrap. ------------------------------------------------------------------ The instructions are fairly simple: 1) Nicole's template is using the word SPRING. It can be altered to use a different font and word, but your word must have 6 letters to it. 2) Clip papers to your letters to begin as a base for decorating. 3) Each letter must have at least 5 different elements decorating it (buttons, flowers, butterflies, artsy bits, magic lights etc.), for a total of at least 30 elements for your page. You can have more but at least 30 and at least 5 per letter. (Don't forget your shadows!!!) 4) Your background MUST be simple white. It can have texture to it, (like gesso) but it must be white. Thanks for the template - this was fun. Went for Longing for spring, since it's at least 6 weeks until something like spring will happen here. And boy, do I long for it. Everything is from artCRUSH#60, except the 2 date tags, which is from Kim Jensen.
I might have broken the rules a bit but I loved the added element in the upper corner and the Magic light behind the letters.
