I really dislike snow, but I wouldn't mind to see one decent one before spring. I could honestly use a snow day lol. But yeah, I'm seriously ready for spring, too...and sunshine...we haven't had a lot of that!
Weird weather here in PA, too. Our Fire & Ice Festival is supposed to start at the end of this week and they want temps in the high 50s. That's not good news for the ice sculptures! We usually have a decent amount of snow and we really haven't had anything plowable this year so far. I'm definitely not complaining, either, when they want it to be 65 on Wednesday, but it's definitely weird for February!
Oh gosh! Not the ice sculptures! Kind of puts a damper on the whole ice part of a Fire & Ice Festival. I'm just below you in WV and nothing plowable here either.
We've been unseasonably warm the last couple weeks, but we also had a super cold snap right before (like -40's C). Not sure what's up with it - I'll take it, even though I know we've got at least 1-2 more cold snaps before winter is thru with us this year.
I was just looking at the forecast for later this week since I will have a funeral to go to for an uncle that died early this morning. Not sure what day the funeral will be but this is what I could be looking at: Wed - 63, partly cloudy/wind Thurs - 57, rain possibly thunderstorms Fri - 31, mostly cloudy Sat - 44, mostly sunny My luck it will be Friday and I can't handle cold weather, it causes me to cough uncontrollably because the sinuses start draining right down my throat.
It's been hot and I dislike it intensely. The dam levels are dropping again, (2018 was the worst yet) so we really will need a good rainy winter. 39C is 102f and just yucky. With stage 3 load shedding, it's just horrid!
I live in Northern AZ and in my area, we had a very snowy January. I believe over 60". My kids already hit 5 days of snow days and tomorrow, they will have another one as there is a storm about to hit that will dump up to a foot. I am in Albuquerque now and will be driving back on Thursday. It'll be 2 days after the storm so I hope the roads will be fairly clear by then.
