Love our Designers - February 13th Rebecca McMeen is our Daily Crush! Besides the standard gallery requirements, there aren't any specific rules to follow beyond simply scrapping with our featured designer for the day and having some fun!! TLP Store: https://the-lilypad.com/store/Rebecca-McMeen/ About her: http://www.rebeccamcmeen.com/about.html Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/rebeccamcmeen/ Rebecca McMeen is one of my all time favourite designers! Her whimsical art dolls are so beautiful and unique. Like a lot of other people no doubt, working with Rebecca's products is very calming for me, once I start playing with her paints, scribbles, art dolls and fantasy type images I am in ‘the zone’, very much immersed in the little scene I am creating - a wonderful way to ‘get away’ from the troubles of the world you will agree! Rebecca's store is filled with lots of magical and inspirational products. From stunning watercolour and sketched products, to her signature art dolls, I am sure you will be able to find something that catches your imagination! I challenged myself to create some previews of the products I love most by Rebecca well, a few hours later I finally managed to narrow them down a bit! LOL!! Top three kits: These are my top fave three kits, as in I tend to go to them over and over again. Fern Bundle | Fragmented - Pastiche | Patina Top three sketchy goodness: As well as her painterly products, I just love Rebecca's sketchy illustrations as well, I so wish I could sketch like her! Summer's End Pastiche | Watercolor Street Scenes | Ami la Campagne Collages Top three autumn styled products: The beautiful colours and themes in these three kits always remind me of autumn, and they are a go to as well when looking for autumn shades. Birch | Aspen Autumn Elements | Malone Elements Top three fabulous faces: Of course you can't leave out Rebecca's Art Dolls, these are my current top three! Malone Art Dolls | Raven's Mist-Xander by Night | Fragmented - Farren Top three natural earth products: Nature always plays a big role in my layouts so I absolutely love Rebecca's nature themed products! Winter in the Woods | Woodland Paths [Brown Earth] | Woodland Paths [Meadows] I could go on and on, but I would end up listing everything in her store! lol! I dare you to go into Rebecca's store and pick out just three fave products!!!! Over the years I have created quite a few layouts using Rebecca’s products and here are some of them: Happy Thoughts made with Fairlee | Blake | Greyson Found a Better Life made with Fairlee | Blake | Greyson Magic Things made with Fern {Entire Bundle} Growth made with Tari Tinkerton Live In The Sunshine made with Octopus Garden Urban Life made with Aster Birdies | Urban Instilled Bundle And finally, this is a layout I created today using Rebecca's products. Like I mentioned above, I became totally immersed in what I was doing, so much that I missed out on getting my afternoon cup of tea! lol! I had so much fun just creating a pretty little scene featuring Marjoram with Thyme her daughter, together with Clover the dog, standing outside their pretty little house in the mountains! All credits are in the gallery Now it's your turn... Scrap a page using (mostly) Rebecca McMeen's products and tell me what THREE products are your fave! Meet the gallery guidelines of 50% TLP product. Post in Rebecca McMeen's Gallery and share your page in this thread (below). Be sure to check out our Love Our Designers event daily since you never know WHO is going to be featured next! Looking forward to seeing your layouts!!!
Thanks for hosting Ona! I have used a lot of Rebecca's goodies... I went looking through my gallery and found this fun one I did using My Everyday Life No. 1
I love Rebecca's art! My favorite products are: Octopus's Garden Unsaid Pastiche Art Dolls Knox Art Dolls & Closet
Oh My Ona... You did set a challenge for yourself... I had to laugh because I have at least one kit in each category you did. Since I only buy , what I LOVE, I think it would be impossible to choose my favorites.... Will have to see if I can come up with something here for you.... OK... Went and found a few from my gallery to post here. Have a favorite I could not find, so will repost it....and get it here also... One of my favorites, the challenge was to make a tree out of somethign that was not a tree.... One O One more....
I really like Rebecca McMeen's style of art. I needed to make a new scripture art to display in our home to replace our Christmas one.
Rebecca is one of my favorite designers. I have almost all of Rebecca's kits including kits that are not in the store. This is a page I made today for Valentine's Day
um WOW!!! look at all of the amazing pages that were posted while I was sleeping! you gals certainly are so very creative!!
Will definitely be adding Rebecca's gorgeous creations to my wish list. For today, I purchased this beautiful sticker set using the Solstice watercolor flowers in vases. Had to feature one somehow!
Thank you so much for hosting dear Ona, I really love Rebecca's whimsical creations, especially her dolls. This is my favorite layout that I have scrapped using her creations.
In 2013 my two older kids performed in Mary Poppins (as the Banks kids) with their homeschool theater group and Rebecca has a perfect kit for those pics. I wasn't scrapping much in 2013 (on a hiatus while I was focused on learning photography) and I don't think I've ever scrapped any of this event.
I saw the Milla kit on sale and couldn't resist it. When I was looking through the papers and elements, I started hearing the old Bobby Darin song "Beyond the Sea" going through my head inspiring my page of the girl standing on the shore watching a ship go sailing by, waiting for her love to come home.
