are there any tutorials on making paper clips look realistic?

    when i use a paper clip embellishment i am never suree how to make it look real, in terms of needing to look like it is clipped to several papers. and the shadow. thanks . i think i usually have to mmask some of the paperclip so it looks like some is behind. would love any pointers

    That is a genius tutorial! I sometimes take the time to erase the parts of the clip under the paper but WOW what a difference that bump makes!

    I never thought to do an emboss. If I wanted a "bump" look I used shadow and doge tools. Hmm...will have to try the emboss - may be much quicker.
