Hello to week Four of our Lift Month. This week I'm sorry I don't have a layout of my own to show you but we ended up doing a quick weekend trip to help my son with a project of building a deck onto his house so I didn't have access to my desktop. This week we are lifting @alinalove Alina's layout Nature Always Win What is the first thing about this layout that draws me... 1. Dark background 2. Blended in nature photo 3. Large title work 4. grunge and texture Challenge Requirements: 1. For the Monthly Muse, you may create any style of layout (ie. clean and simple, artsy, pocket style etc.), with or without a photo. Create any size page you wish. The Art Muse is for everyone; have FUN! 2. You can use any products in The Lily Pad store or retired products from current Lily Pad designers, (just make sure you follow our gallery guidelines). 3. Please post your layout to the Art Journaling Gallery HERE by Midnight, 30 April 2022; and post your layout in this thread by copying the "Share BB Code" to the right of your gallery image. Each post, regardless of the week posted in the month of March earns you one chance to win a $5 coupon to the TLP store. Thus, 1 Muse = 1 chance to win 2 Muses = 2 chances to win 3 Muses = 3 chances to win 4 Muses = 4 chances to win
First time I make any of these Muse challenges, not sure if I'm doing it right. But this layout was so inspiring, and as I wrote in my comment to the layout: "This is my only hope - nature will win, humans will not be able to destroy the earth." I absolutely just had to make a layout myself. Here it is:
Here is mine: I took the dark background, textures, lines, strings and a mix of drop shadowed and blended elements.
Thanks for Aprils Muse. Sorry I am late in posting. I enjoyed the different format of my page ,up to a point, but will go back to full pages, or skinnies I think
