    I moved the retired goodies to an external hard drive. I am adding to the folders each week, so freeing up space on my desktop just makes sense to me.

    I just leave them in my files...unless a designer moves from TLP. I do need to try and do something with them and figure out how best to organize them.

    I don't understand. You can still use the products. You can't post they pages at the lilypad gallery or for challenges. If you like the products use them. I'm sure you will like the pages you make.

    I stopped posting here because I was using supplies from other stores. Getting my memories recorded with the very minimal scrapbook stuff is enough for me. I don't need others to see them.

    My process is similar to Rachel's. If a designer is still in the store, I just label the folder "retired" at the beginning of the folder name. That way, they all go to a similar part of my kit folders when alphabetized. If a designer is no longer in the store, I move their materials out of my "TLP" folder into a "Misc Kits" folder.

    @burnbright I agree with you. I still use the products that are retired and products from designers who left the store. I have a *lot* of kits from someone who recently left and I have that many kits because I love her style! I like to play in the challenges. The monthly challenges are about 1/4 to 1/3 of what I scrapbook in a given month. For those challenges, I want to make sure I'm using the right materials. But I have stuff from a several different stores and I can't even count how many designers.

    @burnbright

    Of course you can use the products without posting in the gallery, but it's always fun to share our creations with other scrappers, so I wanted to let you know:

    You can use products from retired designers or products from other stores in our monthly challenges, as long as they don't exceed 25% of the total of products you use on your layout. The exception to this is the monthly BYOC challenge, and you're required to use 90% current BYOC products from the current month's BYOC. Eligible product for the monthly challenges can be current OR retired product from current resident designers, or guest designer product that is currently in the TLP store.

    Monthly designer challenges will have different guidelines so you would need to view each one of those separately.

    If you are not creating a layout for one of the monthly challenges, then the general gallery rule is that your layout must contain 50% TLP products.
    Hope that helps as I'd love to see you sharing your creations again!

    You are on Windows right?

    You can delete the Mac file that comes up when you unzip. It's a file that Apple puts in there and we Windows users don't need it.
