So I did it today, went through all of the retirement goodies and oved them from my stash to my external hard drive. Cheryl has posted an easy way to search per designer. Do you feel sad to see some favourites being retired? I get super sad to see some favourites are going. I know it's to make space for better and brighter, but I still feel the emotions. 5. When I scrap, I usually check if it is in the store first before I make a page. I love our store's search capability.

I totally forget...and then I forget to check to see if items are still in the store when creating pages that I want to post in galleries! Definitely an area I need to work on.

But all my kits from others designers are separated by designer and then by themes. In the CU case they are separated by theme.

A few times I have left it in the basket to think about it , or to add more the next day, if it involved a discount for example. Then forgot and when I remembered it was to late. ! 4. Yes for sure ( see post 1 ) but at least it makes me look at what I actually have ( because I am Checking it ) and lots of times if it is from a favourite designer I still keep using it for challenges and mixing it with a kits I perhaps did not use so much before... 5. Do you re-organise your Lilypad supplies to represent what's in store? No, the only time I check if it is still in the store is for MOC. If it is Designers currently designing at the pad, they stay put in the LP folder.

Sleep on it, take stuff off, add more stuff, cut it down again cause my cart is usually 2,3,4 times the size of my budget 4. Do you feel sad to see some favourites being retired? Not yet at least, I keep them in the designer’s folders

But I'm saving up for iNSD sale 3. Do you add to your cart and click and pay - or sleep on it, refining your choices? I'd sleep on it, look at my current stash and see how the 'new' additions could help me use more of it (e.g. similar colour palette, theme, etc.) I'd also look at which collection that I haven't completed yet (e.g. no journal cards, no element packs, etc) 4. Do you feel sad to see some favourites being retired? Mixed feelings. I only use current products for MOC so retired or not, it doesn't really affect whether or not I'll use the product for my albums. But I do feel sad to see some newer products (e.g. 2020 onwards) already retiring. 5. Do you re-organise your Lilypad supplies to represent what's in store? Yes, but I only add the label "retired_" in front of the original file name so it's not complicated. I try to simplify my process whenever I can.

Gosh, I have mixed feelings about the retirement sale because I'm sad when anything leaves the shop, but it is really fun when I see things that I didn't even know where in there and then they are on sale, so bonus! 2. Oh I have to think and think and think which of the things I just NEED before they are retired. 4. Do you feel sad to see some favourites being retired? Definitely! I try to go through the whole store listing and add "_RETIRED" to the end of each folder of goodies that are retiring so I know for future use.

If I pass over something at every one of those opportunities for years, it means I probably don't really need it. I sometimes buy a few things, but not nearly as much as during other sales. 2. If my cart is full with more than I planned to spend, I sleep on it. 4. Do you feel sad to see some favourites being retired? Yes! My main kit folder doesn't change. But I have a folder with previews of everything MOC-eligible, and I have to delete retired things from there. I hate doing that!
