Hi everyone and welcome to the March Journaling Challenge. Sometimes less is more, and this month we are going to demonstrate that. Flash fiction is a genre of fiction defined as a very short story. A flash fiction story can be as short as a few words. This month's challenge is to tell a story using 10 words or less. There are famous six-word stories that are extreme examples of flash fiction. The most famous of these is the story about baby shoes: "For sale: baby shoes, never worn."This is often attributed to Ernest Hemingway, although that is not known for certain. Your page doesn't have to be fiction (made up), it can be non-fiction (real life!) as well. Here is my page for a little inspiration: As always, please remember our monthly challenge rules: Your page must contain at least 75% Lilypad product. Your page should be posted to the Lilypad Gallery and then linked to the March Challenge Layouts thread so it can be tracked, and to this thread. The Lilypad uses a percent system for our challenges; the number of challenges you participate in determines the store discount you will receive at the end of the month: 2 challenges = 10% off 4 challenges = 20% off 6 challenges = 30% off If you complete 7 challenges, you will receive a coupon for 30% off, plus you will be entered to win a $50 gift certificate from the Lilypad! The first seven challenges will be posted on the first of the month; the eighth challenge is the BYOC challenge, which is posted on BYOC release day. Each page counts for one challenge (you cannot use one layout for multiple challenges). I can't wait to read your stories!
This little lady is too funny in her pretty dress, press on nails and sandals with her bunny in her Easter basket. Such a little diva or not. She loves the mini-bike Papa got her. She is in training learning how to ride it but wants a ride when she comes to visit.
Thanks for hosting, Heather! 10 words journaling: "Funny my hair looks similar to when I was little!"
