January 17: Title Bleeding off the page Hi everyone! How are you doing so far? It's been a bit over 2 weeks since we started MOC. Today we are going BIG, we are going BOLD, we are going OFF THE PAGE! WHAT?!?!?! Just a few rules for this one, but all the rules need to be MET. The title needs to be so BIG that it bleeds off of the pages on 3 of the sides of the final page. (i.e. If your title is placed in a horizontal format at the bottom of the page, then it should bleed off the right side, left side, and bottom of the page. YEP, HUGE!!!!!! The title needs to be placed either VERTICAL or HORIZONTAL on the page. It needs to be BOLD, nothing dainty about this title. This title deserves respect and I want it to be the center of attention. The only other thing that can be the attention seeker on this page is the picture. You must create the title, papers with words (as the title) will not count towards this challenge. Clarifications: Page can be photoless. You can use a BIG CUTOUT template to create the title. Template for the page is not allowed (only for the title, if you chose to) You may use alphas, fonts, brushes to create your title. No diagonal titles. I hope these pages bring a bit more clarification and some inspiration. by @Dalis by @lcpereyra @amandac @Iowan @MiekSter Your page must be a new page in order to count for the Month of Challenges. Your page must be posted in three places: Uploaded to the TLP Gallery (not an outside hosting site). Posted in your page thread you created in the MOC Layouts Folder. You should have one post per completed challenge page. If you complete all 31 challenges, your thread should contain 31 posts. Please do not comment in the participants’ page threads so we can keep them clean. Posted in this thread. People can comment here if they wish. Your page must contain Lilypad product (pages with photos and font only do not count). If you use product from other stores, your pages must contain at least 75% current Lilypad product (currently for sale in the store from either permanent designers or guest designers).
spot for questions. Yes, as long as it also follows the rest of the requirements on the list for the challenge.
I don't think I've ever had the page/photo idea come together as fast as this one did. Cool challenge!
Denny's Winter Wonderland To understand why there was this much excitement about a Denny's carpark you have to understand how little snow they had experienced till then! I used "Wintertime" kit
A different look at winter "fun" than Lynn G's above. At 8 years old we are occasionally seeing glimpses of the teenager to come. She has attitude to spare at times. She was telling her Mom that she was done smiling for pictures. Credits are in the gallery.
I love this idea for a challenge - don't think I've ever done a layout like this - and it was super quick!
thank you for the challenge and the inspiration Dalis. I decided to go art journaly with it to document a conversation I had with my pastor yesterday afternoon. I need to remember what he said in response to how I was feeling.
