thank you for the interesting Challenge, i love blending so much! I took the picture of the swimming ducks this morning while walking with Jona
Thank you for this challenge, blending isn’t something I have done before and I scrap on an app on my phone so I had to do some research into how to do it but I’m really pleased with this as a first attempt. I’m definitely going to be using this technique again and trying to improve at it. I used Sahin Designs Travelogue elements.
I blended the photo with the BG as in your tutorial and then I put the paper on top of my photo and used the multiply blendmode (I masked out the belly)
Thanks for the heads up. I've corrected the last two images and I believe they should all be showing now.
Good morning, Using Artisan, this was a little difficult to figure out, but I think I got it- I used the Touchup tab, decrease color. Then I blurred the edges a bit. Then I went to Filter, Edges, and softened the edges. Then, just because I wanted to, I did Surface, Texture, and gave it a wrinkled effect. The red is the BG paper. Yellow (and the grey at the bottom) is where the photo blends into it. I hope this meets the challenge! Maybe this will help anyone with Artisan!!
Two gradients: to the right (turquoise) and to the left (beige) plus the "attenuation" overlay mode (in order to have a glitter effect). MOC10_Day_4_The Story Of The Postcard by zotova posted Jan 4, 2022 at 4:56 PM
I used both a clipping mask for my photo and then I used the pse tutorial from Christa on my background paper.
What a great challenge, I don't do a lot of blending (well not without using masks etc) so was fun to challenge myself to do it without masks/paint. I followed your tutorial but changed the type of gradient to get the photo blended in top and bottom and then used Allison Pennington's The Blahs. Photo taken Jan 2
This was really fun! Adding to @tinkerbell1112's instructions for Artisan - I used the cutting tool - if you go to straight and choose blended, you can cut your photo edge and adjust how wide you want the cut and it blends it right in! I even cut at an angle!
The story of today, not what I'd normally pick to scrap, but this is where we are, and what is normal anymore anyways...
I used the PSE link above... Credits: A Pennington Dear '21 I kept this simple to let the photos shine..this is Baby Koda's first snow - Shelby took these pics on 1/1/22 when KC had their first snow and Koda had a blast playing in the snow - which was mostly crawling around the driveway and patting the snow.
