    Hi!

Welcome to this month's technique scrap =) This month, we have been discussing the technique of using the gradient tool: HERE is the thread

    *********************************
Please post your completed layout in The Lilypad gallery. GALLERY RULES: Layouts must contain at least 50% TLP products. (Templates count as 15%.) Uploads must be less than 250k. List all credits; no off-site linking allowed.

You have 24 hours to complete your LOs....they are due April 25 at 12pm Eastern

    **********************************

    INSTRUCTIONS
    1. Create a new Layout and pick out 2 background papers that coordinate (one can be a solid- just NOT white)
    2. Using the gradient tool, blend the 2 background papers. The amount of blending and the type (linear, radial, etc...) is up to you.
    3. Add at least 1 photo, but no more than 3 photos
    4. Add a Journal Card or plain bit of paper with a fun quote.
    5. Add a stamp or brush or shape or paint, and using the gradient tool, add at least 2 colors to it.
    6. Add 3-7 elements somewhere on your layout (can be separate or in a cluster, but NO MORE THAN 7)
    7. Add a title, date, journaling if you wish (optional)

I can't wait to see your take on today's challenge!

My step 5 is a stamp/paint photo edge overlay. Originally black, I applied a gradient with three colors. My 3-7 extra elements are the stitching, the journaling strip, the date strip, and the doodled flowers.

Oh, I totally forgot about the chat! I’m so sorry. I remembered until 10:30, then I got distracted. Story of my life. I’ll get a page done, though!

I sure need practice on this technique.:circles I used a gradient on the doodle stamp behind the pic on the right, on the background paper and then over my journal card, cus I couldn't get the colour just right. And Voila! It worked perfectly! (At least I like it)
