Welcome to December!!! It is the last month of 2020, of what has been a very different type of year for most of us. It is also a month of year end festivities with Hanukkah, Christmas, Kwanzaa, Boxing Day and New Years Eve... While it may be a little different this year, traditions of music, decorations and all of the baking will be the same. I just love this time of year as I smile with wonderful memories while decorating and trimming the tree. Some of us have been watching Christmas Movies for a while now to get us thinking of happier times. The holidays are now here!! With a new month, it welcomes a new month of challenges here at the Lily Pad!!! I am so excited to be hosting the December Template Challenge! This month, we have an amazing template from our very own and very talented Mirjam, of Pink Reptile Designs! You can download the template HERE. Then using the free template, create your own layout. You can scrap it exactly as it is, or you can flip it, rotate it, add or replace, as long as we can tell you used the template as your starting point. Here is my page: (Credits are Fancy White Papers and It's Cold Outside - alpha, elements, papers w/links in the gallery.) As always, please remember the monthly challenge rules: Your page must contain at least 75% Lilypad product. Your page should be posted to the Lilypad Gallery and then linked to the December Challenge Layouts thread so it can be tracked, and to this thread. The Lilypad uses a percent system for our challenges; the number of challenges you participate in determines the store discount you will receive at the end of the month: 2 challenges = 10% off 4 challenges = 20% off 6 challenges = 30% off If you complete 7 challenges, you will receive a coupon for 30% off, plus you will be entered to win a $50 gift certificate from the Lilypad! The first seven challenges will be posted on the first of the month; the eighth challenge is the BYOC challenge, which is posted on BYOC release day. Each page counts for one challenge (you cannot use one layout for multiple challenges). I am excited to see your pages! Have fun!
Thank you so much for hosting @cfile Christa. Thanks also to @mirjam for the wonderful template. That doodled tree was just perfect for this.

This is my first time submitting to a monthly challenge! I've done MOC for 3 years and I've often looked at the monthly challenges but never got around to completing a LO and submitting. But I was inspired (and intrigued) to do this one - especially once I saw that @cfile was hosting! Thank you Christa! I had fun making this and putting our most recent (2018) family picture in a LO. All of my products come from Storytellers Dec 2017 & Dec 2018.
