Hello everyone! I so hope you’re enjoying this event so far. I know I could use the connection about now. A little new conversation with people outside my family “Tell Me Something Good” – which reminds me of the old Chaka Khan song. We've got brave healthcare workers heading to NYC Bees that are napping on the job And some funnies (source unknown - a friend forwarded by text) Also these fun games... can you name the characters? see more here ******************* Alycia (AlyciaIN) posted below about THIS must hear heartfelt pep talk and vulnerability James Corden's Homefest: Star speaks of 'anxiety and sadness' over coronavirus See the Twitter video in the middle of this article Please if you are feeling anxious I have some good tips on my Pinterest board below. ******************* I've got a whole Pinterest board with many more things saved to share. I got to video chat for 4.5 hours yesterday with my daughter who is serving a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Argentina. Argentina is on lockdown and her neighbor is taking good care of them and lets them use the computer to talk to family. YAY!
Here's a link to watch parts of James Corden's Homefest: Andrea Bocelli's song was amazing! The closing song was also amazing: "You Will Be Found" from the Dear Evan Hansen by Ben Platt & the cast. Videos are linked in the article. https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/l...nd-billie-elish-more-homefest-special-1287616 All of the performances were great. I would highly recommend listening to James' closing comments. See the video at the end of this article: https://www.bbc.com/news/entertainment-arts-52105059 You can also use https://www.youtube.com/ and search for James Corden #HomeFest to find other songs included.
Here's another link to an uplifting concert that occurred Sunday evening, Elton John hosting Living Room Concert for America: https://www.usatoday.com/story/ente...features-mariah-carey-others-home/2937777001/ The performances were all great for this concert as well. I'm a longtime Elton John fan so my favorite part was when Elton used his son's keyboard to play part of one of his songs at the end of the program. (see link to video in article) Or as above, you can use Youtube and search for Elton John Living Room Concert to find other performances.
Wednesday night 9 pm EDT on CBS, Garth Brooks and Tricia Yearwood will be a Live By Request Concert: https://ew.com/tv/garth-brooks-trisha-yearwood-announce-concert-special-cbs/
