So sorry I did not see this sooner! I am glad your pain has subsided. I pray for a quick resolution on the second one. Waiting is not fun. Please keep us updated.
I wish I had known earlier as well, but sending prayers and hugs. I'm with you, ask until you get what you need and want. You can get lost in the system otherwise.
Oh boy, Dalis! The updates got mixed in and I didn't realize. I'm sorry! With the wait, I'm all aabout keeping the 6 month wait, but then all about getting a second opinion. I'm glad that the pain is subsiding, and hugs mama. So scary. Thinking of you and sending love!
@Dalis - where are you with this now, hon? I'm now closer to this with you. Hubster has to have a biopsy on his thyroid as now the issue is greater. Really hoping to hear good news for you!!!!
UPDATE+++++ So, biopsy results are ABNORMAL but NON-CANCEROUS cells. I still need surgery. I am going to see a doctor that two people I trust recommended on Oct 7th and we will talk about the other biopsy that still needs to happen.
I'm glad you have results. I've been following this thread but haven't said anything yet so better late than never. Good luck October 7th and with surgery. You got this.
Holding you in my heart, Dalis. At least, you know something and will be seeing a doctor soon. Lots of hugs and love coming to you.
Bless you Dalis. I had surgery to remove non-cancerous growths in my left breast in my early 20s. I'm glad your results are positive, and I hope your surgery goes well.
I'm so glad it's non-cancerous and that you have another Doctor to see about how to move forward from here! Surgery isn't anything super fun, but I'm glad you're getting rid of those abnormal cells! buh-bye!
Dalis, I know "abnormal" isn't the word you wanted to hear, but non-cancerous is good! Hopefully Oct 7 brings you answers and you can make a decision about the other side's biopsy (how to do it/when to do it).
Good luck Dalis. Many many years ago I had abnormal cells that I had to have surgery for and for a number of years I had to get PAPS done more frequently but I'm happy to say I've been healthy ever since. I wish the same for you!
I am thinking of getting the surgery done right before Thanksgiving. LOL!!!! Hubby and I both have the week off.
I have heard so many wonderful things about this new doctor and I feel like I am in better hands. Funny part, the person who recommended her (one of them) is one of the hockey moms. Her husband works hand on hand with this lady doctor. She takes the boobies out, he replaces them with brand new ones. LOL!!!
