Thank you for the update... I'm so sorry to hear of this horrible health battle, and of the extra work and stress that was inadvertently caused for your team (both in terms of your workload and the concern that you must carry for your friend). Sending out my thoughts and best wishes for Jason, his family and your entire team. <3
Oh wow... so sorry to hear all this. The GC's are the least of my worries, my heart goes out to him and his family. Sending prayers and hugs. As for you, @lmccandless , I hope you are getting rest and taking care of yourself throughout all this. I'm learning, as I get older, we always take care of others and not ourselves... so... not that I'm mothering you or anything (lol), just throwing it out there! xx
I've not been participating in the forum lately, life got in my way. But I had some time today & noticed new activity on MOC, so I thought I'd pop in. Oh my, yes, prayers for the accountant! Miracles do happen. I met a woman who had been diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer in her early 30's. She is now in her 70's (at least). Cancer is evil, DH and I deal with it every day. But a positive outlook and lots of prayers help. And I echo what so many of you have said. The GC is the least of my concerns. I would also be willing to donate it to help with medical expenses... Blessings to all.
So happy to hear tlp isn't closing but heart broken for your accountant and their family. That is something terribly out of control, that you all could not have anticipated. Thank you for letting us know.
so sorry for the accountant and the family. not to worry take your time. in the big scheme of things gc dont matter but health does
Thank you for finally sharing... We would have all been as understanding if we had known sooner.. Pancreatic cancer is one of the bad ones, that you do not survive... I lost my sister in law to it in the early 90's and she fought as hard as possible... Patrick Swayze, and several other stars lost that battle and now Alex Trebeck is... he seems to be doing well...Hope he breaks the odds... They are making progress with fighting cancers... The one that took my husband now has quite a survival rate, although death still comes in the end... he only had 6 months! others less than that... Prayers to your accountant... Thanks again for sharing....
Checking in on the status and saw this. My sister is a survivor of pancreatic cancer and I know when we got the diagnosis we thought the worst. But her amazing doctors and nurses got her to ring the bell and it's been almost two years in remission. Prayers to him and hopefully there is a positive outcome.
So sorry to hear about this news. Prayers lifted up for your accountant and you all that are behind the scenes trying to make sense of it all. Take your time - we will be here.
I was wondering the same thing, as it has been almost 2 months since the last update. I know everyone is going through so much, and I hate that all this came about, but 2 months of silence, with no update is kinda crazy.
