February Photography Challenge

Interesting challenge, I never really think about this. I tried to apply the rule of thirds to the page as a whole too.

My big photo on the right meets the criteria with the heads in the lower right bottom third.

Individually the photos should be ok with the rule of thirds,and the page as a whole is ( I think )

 

I took this photo from across the room so it originally included a crowd of people. I wanted to focus on these two friends, however, and cropped it so that they are (sort of) on the thirds lines. The difference in height made it hard to get both of them at an intersection, though! Close counts, right?

 

A bit of nostalgia, going back to 1992 for this one.

 

The cannon is my "thirds" focus.

I tried for thirds. The beauty in Nature is lovely, but when it is minus 42, you don't stay outside for long!
