You GO girl!!! That's the way to do it! You were prepared and you went in there and were in control. Love the image of your high heels clicking all the way!
I am SO proud of you Anne (not that I doubted for a second you have all the Mama Bear you need inside you!) I love that you called BS and that you wouldn't let them squirm away with non-answers or lies and I really love that you pulled your son in to hear the expectations you're putting on him AND the caregivers all in front of each other so they all know you're not messing around! As always, I'm keeping him and your whole family in my prayers for the progress he needs to come back home. I also love that he gets to call you every day now and you'll be there to cheer him on and give him daily accountability when he needs it! Big hugs to you!
So proud of you Anne. You are strong, smart and tenacious! You are an inspiration. Your family is lucky to have you!
Anne, you can't hear or see me, but I'm cheering and clapping for you & your son. Proud of you for doing what must be done! You are such an amazing mom, you didn't sign up for this but you are doing it. Your son can do it too. I'll continue to pray for and cheer you on!
I am crying so hard. I am so with you Anne. Some days I truly feel Jamie will be the death of me. I laid it all out last night. "Behave at the after school program, it is all we have. We have no other options. If I have to quit my job, I can't pay rent, if I can't pay rent, we don't have a roof over heads. I have worked too hard to lose the roof over my head because you don't feel like leaving the computer room!" I hope he gets it. And I dress up for those IEP meetings just like you did. They know I'll be checking. They know that I know the law. I am pulling for Whitley, I truly am. Go get 'em Mama Bear!
