      Just want to wish you a very happy birthday! Notice we have a lot in common, as DH is an architect, and I'm an LSU alum too. My dad is really into genealogy, and it made me so happy to find out which part of England my family is originally from. We're so glad you're part of The Pad family.     I am married with 2 sons. The oldest recently graduated from Penn State and is working as an Architectural Engineer in NYC. The youngest is at LSU, studying Business.

    I am from New Orleans, but lived overseas for many years. We lived in Cairo, Egypt, for 4 years and lived in Baku, Azerbaijan - on the western edge of the Caspian Sea - for 3 years. When our sons were both in college, DH and I spent 3 years in Luanda, Angola - on the Atlantic coast of Africa, just south of the equator. My husband is now retired and we have settled on a peaceful, 10 acre property north or New Orleans.

    In addition to scrapping, I love to quilt and do genealogy research.
