Created for Scrap Like a Polly November 2025-Vrielinkie (Hanna)
Description
Maximalist style: Start with a solid then start filling the page!
I used a background from Jaimee that had sort of a half-tone applied...it's cool

Photos: Use multiple photos, OR cut-up or highlight sections of a single photo with coloured overlays or blend modes for a cool graphic aesthetic
Multiple photos used, two large photos blended.

Repetition: Repeat a shape, or type of element, at least 5 times. They don’t have to be identical. You can vary the colour, size, style etc.
Got those hexagons goin' on!

Dimension: Keep the page fairly flat by choosing elements like paper products including ephemera like tickets, stickers, stamps, fonts and choose flat styles of frames or ribbons rather than bulky or curly ones, for example.
Kept the shadows shallow.

Element use: Include a camera or flower of some kind (or both!)
Got both!

CREDITS: Just Jaimee's Candy Crush (quick page/template, leaves, paint, ombre paper clipped to word art, striped paper); Just Jaimee's Storyteller May 2022 (word art); Rachel Etrog's Fa La La La Fun (word strip); Rachel Jefferies as Captivated Visions A Quiet Place (word strip); Lynn Grieveson's Finis (flower); ninigoesdigi's Summer Snapshots (camera); Lynn Grieveson's Summer Freedom (flower); One Little Bird's Between Us (word strip)
love the hexagon photos with the pp hex's and dotted line border - very cool way to use repetition and the diagonal paper accentuates the movement here - great job incorporating texture into the big photo with the blends too!

I love that white background with that subtle dotting! It really worked with the blended photos! Thanks for the love and for the great challenge!

Amazingly cool page.
Even though this is the guy who didn't like my veneers? LOL He's a great dad. I had some journaling for the page, but I couldn't really fit it in the way I wanted. It was just about how he was there for everything for the kids...still is.

Yes, It's a well done page, your journey got you here. I am glad he's a great dad.

Love this! Especially how the shapes were incorporated in different ways: blended, as photo frames and dimensional shapes. Amazing page, and you even left out the journaling just like I probably would haha. Kudos!!
