My Husband's Heart condition

I'm so sorry that you both have to go thru this. I am sure that hurts so much that you can't be there with him. Sending lots of prayers your way. Sounds like they are staying on top of his heart issues, though, which is good.

Sending healing vibes and comfort to you two, I hope everything works out. Definitely ask if you can stay in the hotel room with him! These girls had lots of great ideas!

Oh I am so sorry that you have to go through all of this Ann-Marie! Sending thoughts and good vibes your way sweetie! :beat

Oh my gosh @A-M I hope all goes well for you guys thats nerve wrecking. You mentioned you live in a little town that was about to be flooded a year ago, you’re not talking about Murwillumbah are you?

Keeping you both in my thoughts. You may want to ask the hospital if they have rooms for visitors. I work for a hospital and they have several rooms that can be booked for stays while their loved ones are being treated. And the rates are extremely reasonable.

So happy to hear that the doctors picked up Ken's blockage early and that it is operable. As suggested perhaps speak to the hospital in Brisbane, so many hospitals have accommodation these days, either on or off site. The off site ones would be close to the hospital no doubt so you wouldn't need to drive but use public transport. Hope everything goes well for you both, sending lots of positive thoughts your way! xx

Hi AnneMarie, I haven't actually been to Bris but the idea of driving around inner city Sydney does my head in so i understand what you mean; I would check with the hospital too though for 'carer' style temporary accommodation b/cos knowing he will be in the best place for treatment and all, isn't always enough. I'm glad he failed the stress test in a way given your initial story with the neighbour, you wouldn't want a repeat situation of that and at least this admission is planned, y'know (trying to find a brightside here) Keep the asprin handy though or any angina med's etc in the meantime?

I'm sorry to hear you are dealing with this, and that you can't be with him. I would definitely see if you can't find a way to be closer, so many good suggestions here. Praying for you & for your husband to have a speedy recovery!

Anne-Marie, I'm so sorry to hear about your husband's heart issues. I will be praying all goes well and will pray for you while you wait at home for him! Sending you lots of love and hugs!

I'm so sorry to read about his heart issues and the stressful situation it brings you all.
Sending lots of positive energy your way!

Sorry to hear about Ken's new heart problems but glad to hear the doctor caught it in time. I hope his operation goes smoothly and he heals quickly. Sending positive thoughts your way.

Anne Marie....Oh dear! Know that the Lord has you both in His hands. Praying for you- that no more and no less than what is needed is done, and that you have peace that passes understanding!

What a stressful situation! I'm super glad he was seen and can be treated before he has a repeat episode. Like others, I'd definitely suggest speaking with hospital administration about lodging. I know at our local hospitals, they often have loungers or pull out beds for family to stay, depending on the wing of the hospital. There are also very close accommodations just for short term stays. Don't be afraid to ask so that you can be near him if at all possible. Praying for him, and for you! ((HUGS))

Thinking of you and him, Anne-Marie. Maybe you can make him beautiful things to send to him via e-mail so he can have something to smile at whilst recuperating... ♥

Prayers for healing and for an opportunity to be your husband through his surgeries.

Oh no, sending lots of thoughts, hugs, prayers for a quick recovery and that you will not worry too much. I know that's hard. My husband is going thru renal failure currently.

An update on the situation for Ken.... he is booked to have his heart procedure on 10th May. If all goes well he may not even need to stay in overnight but needs to be at the hospital the day before.
It is a good day :) I will be keeping you and Ken in my prayers :)
