Alright, so we did the basics: buses, trains, limos, planes. Let's upgrade!

1. Have you ridden a subway?
2. Have you ridden a street car?
3. Have you ridden in a hot air balloon?
4. Have you ridden on a cruiseship?
5. Have you ridden on a ferryboat?

1. Have you ridden a subway? Yep! Many many times! Such is the life in Boston.
2. Have you ridden a street car? Yes
3. Have you ridden in a hot air balloon? Nope!
4. Have you ridden on a cruiseship? Yep! Love them!
5. Have you ridden on a ferryboat? Yes. As a child we had to ride one in Washington to get to our house.

1. Have you ridden a subway?
Once. I was in Philadelphia and my friend wanted to take the Subway to a Who concert so that we didn't have to bother with parking. We forgot that we'd have to walk through the city late at night afterwards. Spooky.

2. Have you ridden a street car?
Yep - lots of times! My Mom was in love with San Francisco, so we went a lot.

3. Have you ridden in a hot air balloon?
No - it is a dream to do so though!

4. Have you ridden on a cruiseship?
Yes- we went on a cruise to Alaska in 2007 and a European Cruise in 2010!

5. Have you ridden on a ferryboat?
Yes - does the Mark Twain at Disneyland count?

1. Have you ridden a subway?
Not lately but many times really

2. Have you ridden a street car?
Are they those they have in San Francisco? If so, then yes way back in 1996

3. Have you ridden in a hot air balloon?
No, and as much as I think it would be amazing, fear of heights would never allow me to try!

4. Have you ridden on a cruiseship?
No, get seasick on the ferry so can't imagine having too much fun on a cruise

5. Have you ridden on a ferryboat?
Countless times, that is the cheapest way for us to get to the UK to visit family!

1. Have you ridden a subway? Yes! I've ridden MARTA in Atlanta a lot when in school and we rode it in Boston when we visited as well.

2. Have you ridden a street car? no

3. Have you ridden in a hot air balloon? No, but I have seen hundreds launch because I LOVE going to hot air balloon festivals. I want to ride in one SO BADLY.

4. Have you ridden on a cruiseship? no

5. Have you ridden on a ferryboat? The ones at Disney World

1. Subway: Yes! In Korea, the subway systems there are VERY efficient, I was ALMOST getting good at reading them before I left... (and I'm VERY directionally challenged when it comes to reading... remembering where I walked and about what direction I need to go, good.. like a homing pidgeon.. hehe)

2. Street Car.. nooooo, but man, this is a dream. To take photos of and ride in one, is that silly?

3. Hot Air Balloon. Again, no, I was IN one, but it never took off, something happened and the person who was going to lift us had to go help.. we had to leave not long after so we never got the chance.

4. Cruiseship. Nope! Maybe one day? heh.

5. Ferryboat. yes! It was really awesome standing at the helm and feeling the wind rush by.

1. Have you ridden a subway? Yes
2. Have you ridden a street car? Yes, as long as one at an amusement park counts
3. Have you ridden in a hot air balloon? No
4. Have you ridden on a cruiseship? Yes
5. Have you ridden on a ferryboat? Yes

1.Have you ridden a subway?
Yes, lots of times while traveling to cities that actually have a subway system.

2. Have you ridden a street car?
Yes, in San Francisco (don't let my Legoland pics fool you, I have actually been there several times!)

3. Have you ridden in a hot air balloon?
Yes, I've ridden twice - Napa Valley and San Diego.

4. Have you ridden on a cruiseship?
Yes, an Alaska cruise! (Fun memory, my brother always recalls this as the "transportation trip" because of the various modes of travel we took!)

5. Have you ridden on a ferryboat?
Yes, there may have been a few times as a child, but I'm only remembering the last trip to Seattle. We took the ferry over to Friday Harbor for the weekend.

1. Have you ridden a subway? Yes, I've ridden the Tube in London and NYC. I've also ridden the Houston Metro rail, which is above ground.
2. Have you ridden a street car? Hmm. I want to say Yes but I may be totally wrong on that. I feel like I've ridden a street car but it wasn't what we think of as a street car; like, it was some gimmicky thing on a vacation rofl!
3. Have you ridden in a hot air balloon? No. They look fantastic but there wasn't really a chance where I used to live; now they land in the open field near my house. I need to figure out what company it is so maybe we can go up!
4. Have you ridden on a cruiseship? Um, kind of. I haven't done an actual cruise but I have done a "dinner cruise" (read: excuse to drink on open water) in Mexico. Oh, that reminds me: we did a pirate ship dinner cruise once! That was fun!
5. Have you ridden on a ferryboat? Yup. Growing up in Michigan to parents who love car rides, my childhood consisted of day trips to Mackinac Island and you get there via boat. (BTW, we lived like 4.5 hours away from the Island. They were long days--sometimes overnights, thankfully rofl.) No cars are allowed on the island, so it's all (smelly) horses and bikes on it. And I've been on the ferry from England to Ireland and then from Ireland to Scotland.

1. Have you ridden a subway? I spent 6 weeks in London as a college student, so lots of Tube rides. Also rode it in Belgium on a trip.
2. Have you ridden a street car? No. The one time we went to SF, the street cars were not running.
3. Have you ridden in a hot air balloon? Not really. We were in a tethered one, but I would not count that.
4. Have you ridden on a cruise ship? Did a 3-day cruise many years ago. Thought it was boring, but we have a 7 Alaskan Cruise planned for June (our 35th wedding anniversary).
5. Have you ridden on a ferryboat? Took one across the James River from Williamsburg, VA area to Smithfield, VA (home of smoked hams). Our car went too. It was quicker than driving around on land to get there. Probably some other boats too, but this is the most recent memory.

1. Have you ridden a subway? Yes, here it's called BART, Bay Area Rapid Transit.
2. Have you ridden a street car? Yes, San Francisco has some beauties.
3. Have you ridden in a hot air balloon? I probably never will!
4. Have you ridden on a cruiseship? My wedding was on a paddleboat, it was a Bay Cruise. Not quite the same.
5. Have you ridden on a ferryboat? Yes! I've had a lot of school field trips to Alcatraz & Angel Island. I've also been on a "ferry" in Hong Kong. It's a small boat that takes you across the river.

Hahaha I don't even need to add the questions on this one... all of the above is a no, except the ferry...I have been on a ferry :)

Always! Themeparks always count!

Yes, or Disneyland. LOL. I believe there are other cities with streetcars - like Toronto or New Orleans? And there's one that's called a streetcar in Salt Lake, but it's iffy to me. LOL.

To take photos of and ride in one, is that silly?
Nope! I want to do the same. And make a title with a play on "A streetcar named desire". Like maybe A Desire to ride a streetcar?

Are you excited? I enjoyed our Alaska Cruises! Lots of awesome photo opportunities!

Hahaha I don't even need to add the questions on this one
You need to visit a themepark or historic city! LOL. Not even the subway?

1. Have you ridden a subway? Rode on the Washington DC underground train so I am going to say yes

2. Have you ridden a street car? no

3. Have you ridden in a hot air balloon? no

4. Have you ridden on a cruiseship? I guess that would depend on what you consider cruise ship. I have done quite a few trips on various ships to see dolphins or cruise around places on vacation. If you are talking about cruises where you stay overnight on the ship the answer would be no.

5. Have you ridden on a ferryboat? We did a fun ferry ride over to some island around Cleveland on Lake Erie (don't remember the name of the island) and had the best time on a golf cart which we almost put in the lake and then couldn't get the brake to work when we wanted to stop.

1. Have you ridden a subway? Sadly, no
2. Have you ridden a street car? Again, no. We have trolleys... does that count?
3. Have you ridden in a hot air balloon? YES! So fun!
4. Have you ridden on a cruiseship? Another no for me
5. Have you ridden on a ferryboat? Yes... one with our car and another without.

OK wait, I take back the subway one. I've been through the Atlanta airport a few times and they do have an underground subway that takes you between the terminals. One time I was there and had a pretty long layover so I just rode it back and forth, checking out all the different shops.
I've been to several theme parks, but don't recall ever riding anything there except coasters and rides. Shuttles from one section to another, maybe.

I hadn't thought about it when I posted, but two of these are at Walt Disney World. LOL.
The trolley in Magic Kingdom is a streetcar technically.
You can ride the ferry to Magic Kingdom.
And doesn't the Orlando airport have a sort of subway? Maybe I'm thinking Atlanta.

1. Have you ridden a subway? Yes.
2. Have you ridden a street car? Yes.
3. Have you ridden in a hot air balloon? I have not. I have been to balloon launches and think they are fantastically cool but I confess I'm a little skeerd to ride in one personally.
4. Have you ridden on a cruiseship? No. And confession, I have no desire to. *blush*
5. Have you ridden on a ferryboat? Yes. Having lived in the Seattle area for university I have ridden on several.

I've been to Disney World like 4 times, but never rode the street car...pretty much thinking we walked everywhere.
Never been to the Orlando airport, we drove every time we've been to Disney (about 10 hours or so)...Atlanta definitely does.
