I have finally moved up to a pretty smart phone. It has memory, so I can have more than one APP on it at a time.
lol-my last one, I had to remove my ONE app just to get updates on the came with phone apps! lol
anyways, I got a way cool wallet for my phone. I had one before, but........
I hated trying to use my phone or camera with this bulky wallet attached....
this one has a way cool magnetic case that goes on phone itself for easy removal! I love it!

Just in my hand. No case.... though I need one. It has a shattered screen, but I refuse to replace it. (Mostly because I didn't have an extra $150 around to replace it) I figured I'd wait until it was unusable before replacing, and then I will also get a case for it.

I only have a basic phone. I carry it in a little mini bag that's sized to fit, that way it's always with me when I'm on call.

Vera Bradley All in One Crossbody in Vera Vera Espresso

I wear it crossbody, and it is small enough to not be in the way, even when I'm sitting in a booth in a restaurant.

It is a tight fit, but my iPhone 6S+ fits in the front part (with the flap). It also holds my driver's license, credit card, and in the cash section, I have my car keys. (No room for coins, with my bulky key fobs, but I really don't need them.)

Over time, I have added a second credit card (for places that do not take American Express), two gas station rewards cards, and two coffee shop rewards/gift cards, because I use them a lot. I also keep a $20 bill in it, but I don't have any place to stash coins, so it is rarely spent (usually at an event or competition with a fundraising concession stand that charges in whole dollar amounts and is impractical for using a credit card. When I get home, I swap out the bulky change for a new $20 bill.)

I have another, larger purse that holds this and whatever else I think I might want to carry around -- that one has my cash, checkbook, store credit cards, coupons, gift cards, and is useful for shopping and errands -- but this is my I-don't-need-my-purse-but-want-to-keep-my-phone-with-me case.

It's in a pocket or randomly thrown into whatever purse/bag I happen to be carrying at the time. Nothing cute, just functional.

I still don't have a phone :giggle
I spend 90% of my time in bed with the computer next to me, so unless I get better and able to go back to work, it is really not necessary, but I know I couldn't have it in any of those purses, because of my arthritis and the hand/eye coordination stuff, it would be complicated to retrieve when it calls... Love the loop @tkradtke !!!!

Love yours Anne, the color is gorgeous!!!

I have that same loopy case, @tkradtke! However, I do not usually use the loopy case, as I have a magnetic mount in my car, which doesn't work with the loop. Also, I had a hard time getting the phone into and out of my back pocket with the loop on the case. I have a 'grippy' feeling case so it isn't slippery and usually carry it in my hand or in my back pocket. I have a little wallet on a wrist strap that i usually carry, but also a large purse that the wallet can go into when I want more space. I have thought about a cross-body strap, but honestly worried that I would be too large to wear one.

Mine has that grippy case on it. They are great. No slipping out of your hand. When I travel, it is just in my purse in its own special pocket. At home, it is right next to my chair. I do that because of my crazy cat whom I am always taking photos of because of his silly antics. I am constantly grabbing it and taking photos!! Oh wait----I DO talk on it----once in a while!!! :lol

How exciting Anne! Have fun exploring apps! I was somewhat slow at getting my first smartphone -- it was 2013 -- but I soon realized how convenient many apps can be and love how my life has changed with it, from ease of communicating with my daughters to accessing my calendar when I'm out in the world.

My iPhone wears a sturdy Otterbox case and if I'm not carrying it in my hand, it's in my pocket (so I no longer want to wear pants without pockets. My daughters are annoyed that women's pants, even when they have pockets, are often inadequate). Sometimes I'll tuck it in my purse, but since I'm bad at hearing the ring or text dings, even with it turned up full volume, I prefer having it in my pocket so I'll feel the vibration. It could be a child trying to contact me.

I chose Otterbox for my first phone at the recommendation of the Best Buy salesperson when I asked for something very protective. The phone without the case seems so fragile! My cases (I'm on my second phone) have been put to the test by accidental dropping several times and it has performed very well. The only time my phone has been damaged was when it fell screen first onto a pointy piece of gravel. I documented that near tragedy a year and a half ago. I like the texture and rubbery edges of the case, making it less slippery in my hand. It's not fashionable, but I don't care. :D

However, I'm intrigued by wallet cases. I'm so particular about my wallets though -- for instance, I won't use one that doesn't zip around the cards -- so we'll see if I ever find one I like.

Mine has a Kate Spade cover over it. The phone is either in my pocket or in whatever purse I happen to be carrying.
Right now I'm carrying this crossbody purse.

I have the black one. My iPhone 7 Plus fits perfectly in it.

OMG this was my complaint last week. I don't work an office job and don't often find a need for professional looking clothes (teacher conferences I'll maybe dig a skirt or dress out if the closet). But I couldn't get away with a skirt for volunteering at DS' field trip to Junior Achievement so I went looking for pants...what happened to pockets on women's pants?!

Anyways, I usually keep my phone in my pocket cause I'm wearing jeans or shorts. When I'm driving or don't have pockets (like on skirts) I have a designated pocket of my purse for the phone. It has a kinda grippy, not bulky case so when I do drop it, it just bouncy and doesn't get any real damage to it. I also have a screen protector to keep the screen itself from getting scratched up. I'm close to needing an updated phone (this one is slowly dying!) so I'll be considering a new case soon.

I have a rubber cover specifically for cross-stitchers where I cross-stitched a pattern on the back. The pack came with two covers, one black (using now) and one white (not so practical) which I am working on now with a dreamcatcher design. But I am sure before I am done I will have replaced the phone (which says a lot as I am still using an iPhone 4s).

Other than that the phone is just thrown into the purse.

I have a "Body Glove" case. It is sturdy like an Otterbox (had one of those on my previous phone) but cheaper in price. I've been using it for almost 3 years. It has a built in screen protector also. My phone isn't used a whole lot so it has done a good job of keeping the phone in good condition. I keep getting upgrade notices from Verizon but why in the world would I want to do that when this phone suits my needs. When I'm home, it is on my desk. If I'm in the kitchen, it is on the counter. When I go away, it goes into an outside pocket of my purse. My case matches my coat and my car... it is purple :)

In my purse if I ‘m out and most of the time at home it sits in my island, if I remember to take it out of my purse! LOL

I have this Vera Bradley wristlet/crossbody too! In a slate blue/grey color. I use it as a wristlet - not the longer crossbody strap. I fit so much in it - my iPhone 6 plus with a slim case, all my credit cards/store cards, cash, change, coupons, a few loose checks ... and even a tiny case of mints, a lip balm, and a mini perfume. My key fob hooks on the outside. Love it ... I'm not a big handbag girl and like to travel as light as possible.

Although if I have pockets that are big enough my phone is often just tucked in the pocket - if not I keep it in the wristlet.
