Arctic front approaching!

We're expecting a lot of snow tonight, but like Amy said, we're in the midwest so we're used to it! I went to high school in Virginia, south of Richmond and I remember how rare it was to have cold weather there.

It's kind of funny to watch the weather on the news right now. All the forecasters are so hyper and over-dramatic about it all. LOL
 
omgosh. I don't want to hear about your "cold" weather. LOL!!!

Winter storm comin' this way tonight. 6 inches of snow they are saying. I jsut want to cry. :(
 
We have a snow day today because of deteriorating wind chill temperatures. We also got 6 inches of snow, but that doesn't usually get us out of school.
 
We got about 6 inches last night and, with the wind chill, it's -30. No school today either.
 
hmmm...not sure what you are all whinging about...it feels nice and warm to me!:giggle

Y'all! I'm in central Arkansas and my drive into work this morning, my car said it was 11!!!! The winds are up so the weathermen say that with the wind chill we were at 2! ~~OMG~~ Ah, this is not why I live in the SOUTH!
 
im sick of the snow now and im so cold even though i have the heating on and its supposed to get worse i wanna cry too

I can't believe we are having our second snow day in a row for the bitter cold. Our school district never gives us snow days!! But I guess 47 below windchill is a good reason! LOL! A four day weekend so close after Christmas...those kids were driving me crazy last night!
 
I'm in Tampa and it's going to be a high of 40 tomorrow..which may sound warm if you live in a northern state (I grew up in NY) but for here it it FREEZING! It's going to dip below freezing and they are calling for some rain so I am praying that we get just a little snow (it's happened here twice since 1977)!

We still have snow here too, kids have been back at school though so I have been enjoying the peace and quiet! :)

Lucky! We had yesterday off but had to go today :(
 
I'm in Missouri and we've had it bad too. I had to close the school the last two days, and we are a nasty 3 degrees! it seems to be clearing enough to open tomorrow.
