I know that a lot of you are used to frigid and even sub-zero temps but here in Texas, it just doesn't get that cold. That being said, after tonight it's not supposed to get about freezing here until Saturday! And tomorrow's wind chill is going to be in the teens. I know I'm crazy but I'm actually looking forward to it. Too bad we won't get any snow. :peekin
 
We have had an artic front sitting over us for the past 4 days or so and I am so tired of it. Burr!! I can't wait for it to get back up in the 30's and 40's. We should be back to normal on Monday.
 
even further south, here in South Florida, it was 36 degrees this morning...we're freezing! :eek Stay warm everyone!
 
My DH is in Texas right now for a conference. He called last night and said it's COLD there. We live in California - the mornings are cold but it gets a lot warmer by midday.
 
It's 16 here right now and supposed to be down to 0 by Saturday. With the wind chill, it will be something like -20. Crazy and weirdly cold for here. I think I'll stay home and scrap.
 
Leslie, are you in Houston or Austin? Here in Houston, it's not supposed to get above freezing after tomorrow. Should make the morning commutes fun - NOT! Thank God it's not going to snow or ice! Although, I heard them say on the radio this morning the road crews are going to start spraying down the overpasses to prevent icing. UGH!
 
Ooh yes..we're East of you in the FL panhandle and ooohsniddly it's cold. Like you though I like the cold weather. Seasons with distinction make me smile. :)
 
Melissa, I'm in Austin. Isn't this weather just crazy?

I think this kind of throws a wrench in the whole global warming thing. :giggle

I'm always confused by your temperatures because we do ours in C so here today its -28c which is -18.4 f brrrr
 
leslie, melissa, sara....here (louisiana) it is the same. unreal that we are this cold! artic blast headed our way! they have said we *may* get some snow tomorrow! it is never this cold here! in the teens this weekend! guess i will have to trade my flip flops for boots!lol
 
Seriously, you girls can come visit ANYTIME if you want to experience the cold weather... I mean it, ANYTIME!!!

I came home from work early today cause it's been snowing and it's been hard to get up the hill we live on cause there is just so much snow... today we are warmer than we have been though, I think we are at 12 degrees Friday night they're predicting -21 drgrees with a wind chill of -39... I want to hibernate!
 
We are freezing and snowed in again today! Another 6 inches of snow and after the last big snow...this feels like nothing. But the wind and cold is supposed to start up later tonight and I am so glad I don't have to go out in it!!

At least I'm from the midwest where we are used to the cold and snow. I can't imagine those of you in the south! brrrrrr!
