January 3: Mood Board Challenge (Inspiration)

Oh man! Make sure you read the instructions CAREFULLY!!!
I got my mood board, did my page. LOVE LOVE! Then I re-read the instructions and it clicked that I had to make the mood board. So... I went and found images similar to the ones on my original mood board and made my own!
Anyway. Thanks for the challenge @jenn mccabe :heartlub It was awesome!!

My mood board from which I had an idea and then went a completely different direction. I'd wanted to focus on bias relif and the exact colors to make an art doll and her room. . .

but alas, I played, tossed 2 pages, thought all day and wound up with lots of pieces and silhouettes. The nice clean Mondrian like lines got lost in the journey as did the exact color. I liked Kim Jensen's much better, lol.

@jenn mccabe, I want to thank you. Mood boards are something I've tried to avoid. They don't really work for me. Doing this challenge sort of showed me what it might be about....and just browsing through all the submissions, I have an even better understanding. So many many wonderful mood boards to study. It is like studying the gallery - very fun, very great differences and so much to gain.

Thank you!

This is the moodboard I created:

Here´s my layout. It was really heartbreaking to make but I just had to do it:

Wow - this was a lot of work! I had a hard time finding photos to go with my mood board, but I think I finally found the perfect ones :)

Here's my mood board:

and my layout:
anne - PB is not working so we can't see your mood board. you can add to the gallery and link it in this thread or upload directly to the thread with the advance option (after you chose edit thread) thanks! can't wait to see the board!

This took me a lot of time (much spent in the rabbit hole of Pintrest), but it was a true challenge for me!

Here is the mood board I created:

And the layout - though after I was done posting it, I didn't like the darkness of the second version of the quote (not the one on the photo), so I changed the blending mode to overlay I think. I also used a lot of hue/saturation changes on the papers and elements from the collab kit that I used (Life Is An Adventure). Here it is.....

Oh my this challenge! I have become addicted to this thread! I need to make a mood board of all the mood boards. They are all wonderful! Here is my mood board:
