Are You Getting Photos/Supplies Ready for MOC?

I start now. Because I'm usually most excited about now. The story is fresh, the photos are new (and better! Because I've improved!). I have been working on older photos as they for my mood, but I definitely started now, and moved backward.
You should totally make this a new thread to ask everyone!

thank you Courtney, I've just started that thread https://the-lilypad.com/forum/threads/catching-up.51541/

I try to tag certain items (paint, ribbon, stitches, etc) that I may need so I don't have to dig kit by kit through my stuff. I also try to have a folder of favorite pics to scrap. I don't have any rhyme or reason to the photos I use for my MOC pages...just whatever works for that challenge. They may be pictures I've already scrapped. Whatever. :)

I'm not a prepper...more of a fly by the seat of my pants kind of a gal! I do have several kits that I haven't used yet, so I will probably scrap with those the most. If I remember correctly, we have to be able to link the kits back to the store, too, so I guess that I don't need to stock up on freebies, either!

Yes, 75% of the products you use for MOC layouts need to be currently available in the store. That applies to freebies as well, so if the freebie is available in the store then you can use it and count it toward the 75% requirement.

I've tagged a few basics and I think it'll be helpful for when I want a staple, thread, etc....I know I can quickly pull up a basic product to use if I don't see that item in a kit I'm currently using for a challenge and don't want to spend time browsing thru folders. Yay....I'm going to be somewhat organized LOL....that's never happened before :)
