I haven’t been around here as much as I’d like for awhile now for the simple reason I’m not well. Was almost 100% certain it was anaemia (I had it 7 years ago and symptoms were very similar) but it doesn’t look like it.

Felt really awful on my way to a meeting that I was supposed to help facilitate yesterday so ended up taking myself to the emergency room. Spent 6 hours there bored as anything cause my phone died, was turned into a human pincushion by the lab and had every lab test under the sun. Everything came back “normal” so was discharged. Am totally exhausted physically, mentally and emotionally so am taking it easy for the next few days.

Have made an appt to see my dr next week to see if she has any ideas but based on using Dr Google, I’m thinking it could be hypothyroidism.....but til I get another few labs ordered I won’t know.

If your inclined to pray for answers, for improved health and feeling better or thinking positive thoughts I’d so appreciate it cause right now i’m more confused than ever and have more questions than answers
 
Oh Jennifer ... how scary for you. I hope they figure out what is going on ... until then try to rest and take it easy. Will definitely be thinking about you in the next few days and waiting to hear how you make out at your next Dr appointment.
 
honestly not so much scary (I’ve had health issues since I was born) but just plain puzzling and worrying cause right now nothing is making sense especially since the labs are normal.

So sorry to hear you aren't feeling well, Jennifer. I hope you are able to get some answers soon. Prayers said for you.

Thanks, I’m not doing too bad at the moment cause the trip to emergency ruled quite a few things out even though there weren’t any answers
 
Prayers sent that they figure out whats going on. If its hypothyroidism, it can be treated and you will feel much better. If it is something else, hopefully they will figure it out and a treatment plan for it. There's nothing worse than not knowing what is going on.

BTW, I have hypothyroidism and after a terrible summer of being sick (about 5 yrs ago), I started medication and I'm fine now.
 
Hoping that you find out what is wrong. That should help in determining what needs to get your health in order. Hugs!
 
@bcgal00 I know there is treatment for it, it’s just getting all the labs done is my problem as the hospital only did two thyroid tests instead of the half dozen or so and couldn’t do any vitamin deficiency testing so they’ll be the main things i’ll be asking for

I'm so sorry to hear this, Jennifer. You have been under a lot of stress with your job search. Stress can manifest itself in many ways. Hugs
 
I'm so sorry you have to go through this, Jennifer. You most DEFINITELY have my prayers!!! I'm still praying for your job situation too.

I have to take thyroid meds daily, and so does my oldest daughter. She was diagnosed with Hashimoto's Thyroiditis, which is an autoimmune disorder of the thyroid in which your body's soft tissues get attacked.

I think I have it too but have never been tested. Maybe it's something you could look into. We had never heard of it prior to her diagnosis. I hope you get an accurate diagnosis and proper treatment as soon as possible! {BIG HUGS} @littlekiwi

Praying you get the answers you seek, Jennifer... there is nothing more frustrating than having tests come back normal when you know there is nothing normal about how you're feeling! I'm dealing with the same type of thing, my doctor is recommending a see another doctor... hopefully I'll get answers there.

I went to my ER and had the same thing happen, still felt sick weeks later, and made a Dr appt. The Dr. found I had severe anemia, a UTI and possible Celiac disease. I wonder if these hospitals just run basic tests and miss things....but yet they charge an arm and leg for everything and no answers.
