So, I had to renew my Driver's License this week and it's been 10 years. Well, things have definitely changed in my state of GA!
I had to provide my birth certificate and marriage license to prove my name. (Passport is currently with the Gov't trying to obtain a VISA for China). I had to provide documentation of my SS# (tax return) and two proofs of GA residence. New photo. New fee. And boom... I can continue to do what I have been doing in this state for the past 33 years... drive.
It was wild! And this was on top of having to renew my passport this year and apply for the above mentioned VISA so we can visit our son in China.
AND for the 1st time in over 20 years, I had to jump through major hoops to prove US citizenship for my medical license renewal.
I feel so engrained in the matrix of the gov't that I couldn't get off the grid if I tried! EVER! LOL.
Does anyone else have to share every detail of their life to continue doing things they have been doing all along? It's getting a bit crazy!
Side note: Who loved these movies? Am I right?
