I also get annoyed by the amounts of Christmas that are in stores - let Halloween and Thanksgiving have their days.
It's October when the weather "cools" (still 90s here in Phoenix during the day).
...ghosts and tombs and other "scary" decorations are scattered through your neighbors' yards.
...holiday plans are getting announced.
