I bought one of the @AllisonPennington mega bundles, and it included a "Flocktogether Friendstrips Freebie" and one of the strips says "Home Skillet." I have never heard this before. Where is it used? What exactly does it mean? Can I eat it?

LOL it just means good friend, basically. My teenager uses this term otherwise I wouldn't know either... :giggle

OMG. I am DYING laughing at this!!! Sorry.. first it was SUPER cute about asking if you could eat, then I DIED at the whole "We do not encourage eating your friends."

Yes, in Texas it was explained that you go to "homeroom" every morning, a 'homeboy' became a friend you always go back to every day and then 'homie' and I have no idea how 'skillet' got into the mix, but some one famous somewhere probably said it and it caught on like hot cakes. (you see what I did there?)

Word up, my homie, as it were. I assure you, I am most certainly down with the streets. :martini

Hahaha! I'm cracking up at "Can I eat it?" when referencing that kit. Sort of... just not your BF... but a breakfast skillet you could! :P

oh, maybe it origniated with a 'homie' in homeroom who brought you skillet cooked goodies from home?

I'm with the rest of you who thought it was something to cook with! Have to ask my teenage granddaughter if she has ever heard it.

I never heard of that either.. I would have thought some sort of omelet or an ad for a breakfast bowl by Jimmy Dean "home Skillet" LOL
