I am making new folders and organizing photos for this year to make sure they get pages done for books.
I also am clearing my paper files today...tossing and shredding fun!
My BuJo book will probably make it to March/April, so I am hanging onto that for a bit later....yeah
You starting end of year things?

The last few years mine have been mostly mental -- looking back at the old year and lessons learned, hurt feelings and such that need to be released, even if they have been already. Just cleaning up and summing up the year and getting ready for the year ahead.
This year is the first year with some energy and some motivation. So my one goal for this year is my bedroom. I have a cabinet full (well not full) of yarn that could easily be in a few bins rather than a whole cabinet and I could put away so much more in the cabinet. So getting that done would be great -- and maybe starting folders for next year!
Also I can't forget the pre-game warm-ups for MOC and getting that 30% coupon I'll need.

I normally don't do anything special at end of year but I got a new computer right after Thanksgiving and I do need to organize my EHD better so I can find things faster.

I have my bullet journal started for the new year. They tend to last 1/2 the year so I have my monthly calendars printed out and the school calendar and important dates written in.

I'm cleaning up my Lightroom right now. I have a couple football games (cheer) that I never finished editing and uploading so I'm getting all that finished. My file structure is automatically generated by date so I don't need to do anything with it. I am going to do a sweep of all phones to scoop double check that photos have made it into lightroom. I don't do the automatic import because I keyword them. I do have them go automatically to dropbox and then move them into LR myself.

In preparation for MOC, I need to check my old Scrap Orchard files and see what Scrapping with Liz and FDD templates I purchased in the past have made it into Lilypad. That will probably take an evening of checking the store and files.

I also need to go through and update my styles. I've bought a bunch from Mommyish the past few months that haven't been added. I have the styles loaded into little collections by type that makes it super awesome to keep things organized. I just need to remember how to do the process again. It will be worth it though!!

It's time to focus on printing again. I do it month by month. I look at the pages I've made and the pictures I have left and then sort of combine layouts and add photos. Then I upload to Persnickety. Again...another process! Yikes!!!

I should really get started on my 2017 calendar, don't ya think? hehe I keep getting sidetracked and haven't even really started it. I got a free shutterfly calendar code from Kelloggs rewards, so I should probably work on that this week.

I also like to make sure I have all the photos from the year moved off of cameras and phones and backed up on my EHD and amazon prime. I put them monthly folders and then move all the monthly folders to a year folder at the end of the year.

I need to catch up on backing up my photos & layouts to Flickr and Google Photos and the second EHD.

I also need to buy a new planner & an OLW notebook that I can keep in my purse.

i had an mri today and took a xanax. i feel like my week's vacation is slipping away from me. i slept today away.
i really should go through photos and organize - just no energy.

Nothing major. I always take time to go through all my poems for the year that I've written. Go through scrapping folders. Just organize.

I also organize my thoughts and reflect on how to be better and better each day.

I always reset my camera counter to zero on the 1st.
Other than that, just the normal clearing out/backing up that I do monthly.

I will be making new 2017 folders in my photo folders, I'm working on goal tracking sheets in my planner/bujo section, and... I think that's all I'm doing. Lol.

@enjoyyourpix Can you go into some more detail about this? I too have a bunch of styles not loaded and found that, like brushes, too many can slow my PSE down? I'd love to think of a system but you seem to have found one!

@Celeste I was in the hospital for two days after our England trip. I passed out twice in about two hours - once at home and then on the doctor's examining table! off to the hospital. Back at home now, I have the energy of a flea and have slept or napped most of each day. It's what the body needed I know. But there is the normal part of me that has the feeling that I'm getting behind in my life, well really the expectations of what I wanted to do this week. Oh well....

@Celeste and @cookingmylife oh my goodness ... you two take it easy and don't feel guilty for resting. I hope all is OK with both of you.

Like many of you -I too need to clean up my photos/download folder and move things to my EHDs and do backups too... things are way out of control in my digital world at the moment. But my energy level is really low as well.

@courtney I like the idea to reset your camera counter at the end of each year. I never thought to do that.

Thanks @jenn mccabe I am spending time at my computer now waiting for an 11am follow up appoint with my gp. Oh the excitement!!!

I too will be setting up the 2017 folders for my PL and gathering up the remains of all the TLP challenges I did this year to see which ones are not yet printed. I have a - gasp - 200+ order on its way from Persnickety so there will be a lot of album filling ahead! Looking at the PL album is always a fun way to end the year.

I too do the usual new folders thing- but really the first of the year is a cleaning time for me! Putting away all the Christmas stuff usually gets me in the mood to do a deep house clean & de-clutter! :) Plus I can put my littles to work too since they are home from school! :whip

@cookingmylife and @Celeste Sending healthy prayers your way.

I'm getting my new computer in a few days so in January I will be reorganizing photos and files. I also will be spending time getting tax stuff organized. We're behind a few years so need to get that done. The good thing is we'll get a tax return so that'll be a great way to start off the new year.

I have decluttered my office space, deleted a load of unwanted files on my mac and tidied up files and ordered myself lots of new planner goodies to go in my filofax ready to start the new year. Determined to stay more organised in the new year, and devote more time to scrapbooking and reading, and hopefully less time to social media

ehhhh ... I need to remember. It might be only for PS, though. I'll pay more attention when I update. The basic process, I think, was I loaded all my metal styles, then saved them as metal style collection. Then I deleted them from my open version of PS and moved onto the next type of styles. PS doesn't nestle the styles like PSE does so you get a never ending list. I have to load a collection. Add what I want to it. Then resave it. Sorry, I'm not more helpful.
