MOC '17 training HERE! bhwhahaha

I did all the challenges this month plus a lot of the Document your December prompts.

I did the MOC challenges last year and it was definitely a challenge to complete them all. I am trying again this year.

I was so worried I wouldn't see the post when it started to get planned...!!!! as most of you know, I m slow (tonput it lightly LOL) with the forum!!!! I can tell you all: it will be as much fun as last year, it will bring new challenges and it will be as much fun, if not more, than all the years previously.... !!! I have been trying to get myself & my place and my "child" (the almost 21 years old one!!!LOL) sorted to be able to join full on!!!

you go girl!!!!! and let me tell you, as one near 60, you will be starting one of the most amazing times of your life.... I had many reasons to love myt late 30s and 40s (I had Sarita when I was, 36 going to be 37!!!!) but all my friends my age, we agree...is like you have come a certain path, you are not that insecure, you are wiser and start enjoying life in a better way, I think.... and we ll be celebrating with you!!!!! :heartlub

I think Anne gave you some pointers...I find the SOSN on Wednesdays also HUGE help, because half price is a great thing!!!!! and the challenges, and buying BYOC on the release weekend.... Can't wa`it to see you creating more for MOC!!! :heartlub

I have been trying to get caught up with the forum but life keeps intruding...but hoping to be done with most next week!!! Can't wait tp get started!!!!!!
 
If you don't have products from every designer here, am I going to have a hard time? I have kits from a few of the designers from other stores...

you don't need to have products from EVERY designer here..... but what you use needs to be in the store here, current designers, you can also play with freebies that are here in the store, but unless the kits/pieces are here in the store, I'm afraid is a no :(
You may have some collabs that are here and in the other designer store, but the kit/pack/template/anything you use needs to be in The Lilypad store.

You have still time to build your stash with the Wednesdays something old Something new, today you have tons of products half price!!!! :)

Well boy am I glad I asked that question!! I just pinned some of the kits I have that are in the store, so I have a few that will work! Thanks for the response.
 
@3BluEyedBabies ohh no worries, my pleasure!!!! ask away, anything you need, there will always be someone around that will try help...this is one of the things I love the most about The Pad...the community is loving, supporting and encouraging.... is a family to me!!!!
Also I had a lot of help, even now, all over my years here, there is always someone who will be able to answer, and we all learn from each other all the time.
Not sure if you saw it, but if you play the monthly challenges, the following month you get 30% discount coupon for the store. There are no Monthly Challenges in January as we will be playing MOC, but there are the Designer Challenges, which are in their blogs but you can find them here (just click on the high-lit designer challenges and it will take you there !) and post in the gallery here and you can win great coupons for their store, if anything you need, as I said, do not hesitate to ask, if I am not around, there is always someone who will be pleased to help!!!!
We always have different events going, and possibilities to get coupons which will make your shopping cheaper!!!
I have made amazing friends here, I'm sure you will have a great time for MOC and make fiends too <3

Me too!! I don't like shopping for a lot of things, but scraps is one thing that I could shop for every day and not be close to tired! And I'm very glad that they are kept on hard drives because I'm such a scrap hoarder that they would never all fit into my house!! LOL!
 
@JIC Creations - I love the snowman in your siggie. What kit is he from?

@bestcee & others - Well I currently use my Target credit card for scrapping. So it might be too obvious unless I start shopping more at Target.
 
Gosh there is a lot of buzz around here about MOC ... so exciting!! I truly can't believe another year will soon be in history though!! Time marches on !!
 
I had a lot of fun reading this entire thread. I have plenty of photos so I'm just going to take it a day at a time like last year. I'm freaking out about finishing while on vacation, but hopefully it all works out.

I have December challenges to finish so I'm in warm-ups for MOC. I find myself wishing for that daily prompt and then keep reminding myself there are 7 or so prompts waiting for me. Got to keep those scrapping muscles in shape, or in my case, get them back in shape after a 2 or 3 week hiatus.
However, I'm taking the weekend for me and trying to justify having to scrap a page or two while I'm away. Hopefully it can fit into the plans for the weekend which are reflecting on the new year.
 
I am ready for those daily prompts; wish they were beginning now so I had some time to work on them while I am off.

And I just spent the better parts of yesterday and today doing just this! I've got a few freebies from TLP designers, but most of them aren't available in the store... so I have my MOC (em oh see) folder ready with TLP kits and a folder labled "NOT IN STORE" so that I don't dip in there first :)

Another tip (this will be year 3 or 4 for me) that I'm hoping to follow this year is to scrap from the same vacation, or in my case, my trip to Thailand this past October. That way, I won't be spending 75% of my time searching for pictures and can get straight to scrapping :) And in the end, I'll have 31 pages of hopefully an awesome memory album!
 
i gonna be lost, kits in no order but month i bought, and have no photoes
