Anyone else watching the new show This Is Us? I love it!! It fills a hole left by Parenthood since that series ended (with me in tears!!). Tonight's episode of This Is Us was so good!!

I'm also still hooked to The Walking Dead. Sunday's show was a shock!!

We got rid of cable a couple years ago so most of what I watch is on network TV or Netflix. Can't wait for the cold winter weekends to binge watch Netflix and scrapbook!!

What are your "can't miss" shows?

i like that how too... also speechless, ''something'' housewife and the guy that once played a ups driver show
my must watch as soon as on dvr is big bang

I like shows where family is in the house, i like looking at decorations in the kitchen, etc

My off list, show where some girl went to like heaven by mistake,

Chicago Fire, PD and Med, Hawaii Five-0, The Walking Dead

Next month, the Chicago series is adding Chicago Justice. I can't wait to see that one!

I watch The Walking Dead . . . hubby started watching it long ago. A couple of years ago, when they had a marathon, we watched and then I started watching with him, then watched on Netflix to grab the few shows that I'd missed. Now I don't want to miss anything . . . until Sunday night . . . um, I'm still in shock. Just wow.

Other than that, I don't really have shows that I watch routinely. I watch a lot of YouTube and I watch movies occasionally. I read, scrapbook, and cross stitch or zentangle while watching football, so that doesn't leave much time for binge watching, which is how I prefer to experience tv series these days. LOL

I have just started watching West World and while I don't appreciate the swearing, the storyline is something to appreciate.

Delighted to hear about Chicago Justice, that will be a must watch too, for sure.

I watch a lot of tv. I love This Is Us. I also like Blacklist, Designated Survivor,Criminal Minds, Chicago Fire, Blindspot and Bull. I'm going to check out Westworld too.

I'm in the Binge watch on netflix camp - but our netflix here apparently has a lot less available - it's not for everyone but we're currently binge-ing Dont Trust The B in Apartment 23 (it's irreverent funny and cringe-worthy at times but it's like 30min episodes so that's a plus to us ;) )
(We do watch a fair few Food Network shows though and house shows like Masters of Flip and anything about Tiny Houses too - that's the only kind of reality show i can sit thru)

It's on my list. And yes, for exactly the reason you mention ... to fill the hole that was Parenthood. I still mourn the loss of that show.
My husband got me started on Revenge. He was looking for something I would like that we could watch together. (guilty pleasure - it's like a modern day soap opera on steroids - and I have no idea why I am hooked but I am.) When I finish Revenge - or get bored of it, I plan to watch This is Us. :)

Master chef Australia ( on at the moment here ) don't like the American version, and the English version is Blahh , but the Aussies rock . ( love the Aussie " My kitchen rules" too )
My Dream home ( with the brothers ) Always amazes me how easy it is to knock down walls in America, lol . They do some serious nice stuff though.
Elementary , Rizzoli and Iles , Rosewood , Major crimes. Oh a a british one called In the club. but I missed the last episode....

For years I never watched any tv in fact didn't even have a tv when I remarried in 2001. The time before and after my knee replacement had me sitting with the ice machine on my knee or stretching that knee and I got really hooked on tv - always recorded so I can zap through the commercials. I'm in @bcgal00 's camp. I like action. Blacklist, Elementary, Designated Survivor (sloooo getting going imho), NCIS:New Orleans, Madame Secretary, most any show set in Washington DC! Then there are the PBS ones....Poldark, The Durrells on Corfu, Vera and probably a couple or so more.

8pm-10pm...don't interrupt me and my tv! :crazy3

@cookingmylife ha ha....me too...don't interrupt my TV time! These day I try to PVR everything and then I can just watch uninterrupted with no commericals and most nights 9-11 I'm in front of the tv. Once I get the computer set up in the LR I can scrap in there and watch TV which will be nicer than in my office, watching the laptop. I'm a total TV watcher when scrapping, no music for me.

Oooh...I totally want to watch This Is Us...I was actually just going to start the first episode the other day, and then my baby demanded my attention :giggle
I LOVE TWD...but am a little behind, but now totally want to binge watch and catch up because of what you guys are saying about the latest episode.
We have also started watching WestWorld...and it's pretty cool. The concept and storyline seems neat.

I loved Don't Trust the B in Apartment 23.

The same producer Nahnatchka Khan also produces the more family friendly "Fresh Off the Boat" about a Taiwanese-American family who move from Washington DC's Chinatown to Orlando, which apparently had almost no Chinese community in 1995. My husband and I are just a little older than the oldest kid on the show is supposed to be, so we get all the 90's pop culture references. My kids watch it and are like, "Did they base the mom's character on you? Because we're pretty sure if we ever brought home straight A's you'd still find a way to give us extra homework." I then point out that until someone actually brings me home straight A's, we will never know the answer to that question.

Also, Kristen Ritter, from "Apt. 23" is coming back in season 2 of Jessica Jones on Netflix really soon, and I can't wait for that : )

I have the Blacklist and How to Get Away with Murder on DVR and don't want to miss those. American Horror Story is another. Seahawks games. The X-Files (old and new). I'm waiting for The Fall (season 3) to hit Netflix this weekend so I can binge on it. And I almost always watch old re-runs of Law & Order and I definitely watch can't miss re-runs of Law & Order: Criminal Intent even though I've seen each episode a billion times.

My off list, show where some girl went to like heaven by mistake,
Yes! With Kristen Bell? "The Good Place". I want to watch that! Thanks for reminding me.

We do watch a fair few Food Network shows though
Yep! I watch, well, really listen, to a lot of Food Network shows, and food show in general. I like not having to pay too much attention to what's happening.

:compcoffee:rofl

season 2 of Jessica Jones on Netflix
I've never watched it, but I love the idea of all female directors for season 2!

I was listening to a podcast, the Real Stories of L & O (Language warning if you listen to it). They commented that it's like listening to a best friend tell you the same story again. You might catch different details, or you might just enjoy the comfort feeling of knowing how it goes. I totally think that's so true with L&O.

That is SOOOOOOO true. :) I've caught all kinds of quirky errors or interesting patterns in things that they do. I go to sleep with Criminal Intent every night because it relaxes me and I know the dialogue, so it soothes my brain.

I'm totally dying that there is a podcast about that!!!!!!!!
