It has been a whirlwind morning. My interview was at 11. Things have been so busy with my dad I didn't get to post it anywhere but I had lots of good thoughts from my scrapping family.

The morning started with a one hour phone call from my sister. Very good phone call but one hour less prep time.

I finally decided to set up our spare table for my interview location and get an extra lamp. All the little stuff to get ready. SURPRISE -- she shows up 35 minutes early. I'm still in my p.j.s Thankfully shower, hair, and makeup was done.

I think it went well. But my nerves are getting me finally. Sounds like a scrapping day for me. Especially since it just decided to pour outside.

Oh Dad is doing well. He had a hyper episode last night (my words). When his sodium levels come into balance and adjusting he becomes quite the opposite of himself. So he will probably transfer to Rehab tomorrow rather than today so they can keep an eye on him and make sure he balances out.
Thanks for all your well wishes.

If your hair and make-up was done I am sure the PJs escaped her notice LOL! Made me laugh though. Hope you get good news :-)

(PS have experience in our family of what can happen when sodium is out of whack, you have my sympathy on that. It's horrible when someone you love is acting so out of character) xx

I just acknowledged it, and that she caught me making sure it was set up and we were starting a little early. I figure explain it -- she was 35 minutes early!
I remembered my aunt on low potassium so I was okay with it, as okay as you can be. And my sister had been through low sodium with my dad so she knew he was okay even last night when he called at midnight with a confusing story. So we were able to reassure each other.

That's quite the early start, especially for an interview. Good for you for being up front about the PJs! I hope the interview went well and you get the result you are looking for.

Sorry that your dad is still having some troubles. It can be so upsetting to see a loved one acting out of character. Hugs.

Oh I hope your interview went so well -- maybe even better because you were comfy in your pj's.
Hope your dad is back to himself soon!

From someone who lives in PJs... am sure you rocked it!!!!
Glad about your sister, and you know all our prayers are with you constantly (as I pester you almost every day talking to you , you know that LOL) glad your dad is doing well too.
huge huge huggzzz

I blame her for showing up 35 minutes early!
When do you find out? I'm crossing my fingers for you!

Most likely three weeks at least. More than too much time but they have the one week on campus class next week so that will slow them down. It was an awkward thank you note to write.

Sometimes interviewers will do unexpected things just to learn more about how you will handle it. It's actually part of the interview.

I hope all went well and that your Dad moves to Rehab soon.

wow, 35 minutes early! sounds like you handled it very Carilyne. keeping fingers crossed for you and good point @wvsandy ...maybe that was it?

Oh yes, definitely not happy she showed up later and asked if there had been a miscommunication. She seemed at ease enough and told me everything else looked good as well so hoping that's a good sign. The presentation was today but I may not get any answers until after the 7th. ARGH!

Tick tock tick tock....I have a friend with a big decision being made on the 8th so I feel for both of you!

Luckily things with my day have kept me preoccupied. I was just thinking about this morning.
