You can tell a lot about a woman by what's in her purse. - Mr. Incredible

So, what's in yours?

And I use the definition of purse loosely - diaper bag, bag, crate, laptop bag, jacket pockets - whatever you carry with you when leaving the house.

I just bought a new one, and love it!

Inside: fruit snacks (for the munchkin)
Licorice all sorts (for me)
Cards, cards, cards (why does every place have a membership card?!?)
Phone
Keys
3 chapsticks
External battery charger
USB voice recorder
Pens - 4
little notepad
Headphones
Sunglasses

2 books I just got from my mom - Me Before you and Reconstructing Amelia
2016 spiral planner
Wallet
Sunglasses
Phone Charger
Keys
Numerous receipts

I hate carrying a purse. Hate it.

Wallet, hand sanitizer, change purse, keys, emergency snack for kids, wet wipe packet (like you get when you eat ribs), and a notepad with pen. In the summer I have a little travel sunblock too. And before I cut off all my hair, I kept spare hair bands. I haaaaate having a lot of stuff in my purse. I'd get rid of the change purse but it's orange and I love it lol. I keep paint sample chips in it in case I happen to find something for the house and want to check colors.

I go through my purse every night if I've left the house that day. All receipts are thrown out or put where they need to go. All trash (dum dum wrappers if we've been to the bank lol) goes in the garbage/recycling. I just can't stand stuff collecting in my purse... but I refuse to carry a small purse rotfl, which you'd think I'd love cuz it wouldn't fit anything but the essentials.
I also hate having stuff in my car, but with two beasts--I mean, children--in the car with me, there are some items, like books or an empty Matchbox car package (DS bought a 5-pack this week and he loves the box they came in. Go figure). Oh, and water bottles cuz my kids can't go 5 minutes in the car without moaning about dehydration. Like we live in the desert and we're riding camels in the sun and not in a US coastal state, riding in an a/c-cooled SUV with tinted windows... :blahblahblah

Pencils, white Sakura pen, waterbrush, black ink pen, eraser, sharpener, journal book, a small set of water soluble crayons, wallet, headphones, keys and a book.

LOL!! it looks more like an art supplies bag!!

Just in the last year or so I went from having a "mom" purse - as in glorified diaper bag- to a small hobo-style bag. I LOVE the smallness! It makes me keep it rather cleaned out! I used to win the purse game at all the baby/bridal showers since I had the most random stuff!

Now I just have- wallet, lots of lipgloss/chapstick & lots of floss (as well as a toothbrush & toothpaste!!!), a pen, a nail file, hand sanitizer & a small lotion, a small package of tissues, a small pack of wipes, a pack of gum & a handful of candy (that's my kid bribery stash!)

My purse content, hmmm let's see:
my anti-migraine pills
1 brush
1 pen
a set of handkerchiefs
a wallet
a little bag with deo, lipstick, etc...
a small notebook
a re-usable folded bag
a usb-stick
an apple

A billfold, iPhone and charger, sunglasses that I never use, hearing aid batteries, Chapstick, keys, tissue, pen, EpiPen and Benadryl (for granddaughter ) reusable bag and tiny flashlight. And an epoch collection of crumbs and fuzz .

My purse is kinda large and heavy. Things I typically have in it everyday:

My wallet
My plastic pouch of coupons
A ziploc with my tea bags and stevia
Checkbook
Little pouch with kids' ibuprofren, adult ibuprofren, small container of lotion and chapstick
Set of house keys
Set of work keys
Two phones (personal and work)
Earbuds
External hard drive (yes, my EHD lol)
Scissors (kidsize)
Pens
AUX cable
SD cards
Vehicle keys clipped to outside

And not everyday but some days, my DSLR camera with my 35 lens. :)

And when I'm with the kids, they typically put their tablets in there.

wallet
notepad
pen
bookmarks with VAHomeschoolers information
Ecolips brand lip moisturizer
sometimes a headband or ponytail holder
sometimes receipts until I get around to throwing them away
occasionally a few tissues
my phone when I'm out of the house

I like to travel light. Sometimes I don't even bring my purse and just put license, a credit card, and my phone in my pocket or my Spibelt

I have a ziplock with Stevia too!
And I really need to keep a back up EHD with me!
And I must ask why you need kidsize scirros? LOL!

Reminds me that I should really keep my NC homeschoolers card with me...I think I can get discounts with it?

In my purse I have....

Wallet with cards (membership, credit, insurance, etc...), a little bit of cash and checkbook.
Brush
Ziplock with Stevia
Ziplock with Ibuprofen

I think that's it.

my iPhone

maybe some cash/coins
maybe a coupon or two
credit cards / DL / health insurance cards
and yes @bestcee lots and lots of store/reward cards! so annoying.

This would make such a cool page.

Ohh, I just decided what a great AAM and/or MM prompts this forum could turn into. My purse...must scrap my purse . . . then scrap about former incarnations. Yes yes!! Excellent idea Scrapandsass.

ps Ricky is so fine!

pads
chapstick & lip gloss
pen & pencil
scratch paper
all of the membership / rewards cards you could ever need in the history of ever
receipts
Tylenol

hand sanitizer
wooden treat coins for Dairy Queen
Werther's Original hard candies

@Tree City, you are so organized. I usually leave receipts in the bag then find them when we recycle the bag. I do keep/file important ones though.

Mostly I like to travel as light as possible which means wallet and keys, not purse. For work I use a very light weight back sack; toss in my lunch, wallet, keys, phone iPad, and anything I may have brought home to do the night before.

I do stalk my semi permanent locations though: for instance I have tissues, band aids, aspirin, change, sunglasses, sunscreen, wet ones, in my glove compartment.
At work I have an emergency electronics case with various connectors to charge stuff, battery backups, etc. , but also wet ones, tissues, stuff to clean my glasses...

When I do carry a purse its generally because we will be out for the day and it contains, wallet, keys, glasses, pen(s), mechanical pencil, phone, and Chapstick (which I have in every location...)

uk terminology being different in my bag i have purse, inhalers for asthma, tissues keys assorted receipts, a pencil sharpener?? and a random piece of lego. oh and a pen and a key thati m not sure what it opens

I hate, hate, hate carrying a purse, so when I need to it's usually my small crossbody that will only hold my wallet, key fob, phone, pen, and some chapstick. I have a tote bag for work and travel, but I only carry it in to where I'm going and pick it up on the way out. I cannot carry a big purse around with me. I used to have a big purse, but it would just collect so much random stuff and hurt my shoulder, so I decided I would get a tiny one, that way I wouldn't be able to carry junk :)
