Spoilers |Pad Patter 7.1

In all honestly, I have a love/hate relationship with House of Cards ... the story will pull me in for a while, and then after a while I just get sick of seeing people be murderers and liars and connivers and STILL getting away with it. It makes me so angry.
Yes! Exactly! This is how I feel about both Game of Thrones and House of Cards . My husband was into GoT and House of Cards first and got me watching both shows. I feel House of Cards is basically Game of Thrones in the White House. The twisty stories draw me in and the characters drive me away. I much prefer stories with clear cut good guys and bad guys, like lots of comic book movies.

Actually right now I wouldn't mind some solid spoilers about which characters are going to survive GoT when it finally ends. I'm going to be SO mad if certain people don't make it, but the way the show goes.... Ugh....

I don't mind spoilers. I don't go out of my way to find spoilers (for the most part, haha!) but if I see them I don't mind at all. I do try to keep Game of Thrones spoiler free, but my sister is a season behind (on the tv show, up to date on the books, which is why she is behind on the show) so hubby and I could only watch it while she was at work, and sometimes we wouldn't be able to watch it until Tues or Wed, so spoilers were hard to avoid.
I will not post spoilers until at least a month or so after the show is finished, and even then I don't often post them myself, I just show hubby.

One of my friends can't watch Game of Thrones with her hubby until Friday night and every single week she posted on Facebook pleading with her "friends" not to post spoilers, and they kept doing it. One week she said that she would unfriend anyone who posted a spoiler, out of the 20 or so people who liked / commented on her status, 4 of them posted spoilers within the hour, and she unfriended them, lol!! She ended up just staying off Facebook all week, but I think it is so unfair that she had to just to keep her favourite show a surprise.

My mum, hates surprises. When she is reading a book, she reads the first chapter, then the very last, and then continues on from the beginning again. She wants to see who is still alive at the end of the book, bahahaha!!

I've done this, not often but a few times. One book I wanted to know if the bad guy got caught so I read ahead to find out.

I do not like spoilers, and like your husband, will avoid or scroll very quickly if I see anything remotely sharing anything about a TV show or a book. I mean, why ruin it for everyone else. You can say you liked it or hated it, but details? Leave 'em out for me, please! LOL

I don't really mind one way or another. I think the process of getting there is more interesting than the big spoiler (surprise).

Totally agree. I have no problem with spoilers myself, but I would never assume that everyone is like me. I ask hubby if he wants to know something (when I stumble upon a juicy spoiler) and more often than not he says no, so I don't tell.

I accidentally did a major and very sad spoiler of one of my sister's and my favourite shows. She told me she was completely up to date, turns out she didn't realise there had been another season and boy did I drop a bombshell! I felt horrible!! Now we very cryptically figure out where each other are up to, lol!

I am good at pretending I don't know anything though. We were watching Ink Master and I wanted to find out about a past contestant and I couldn't avoid seeing who the winner of the current season was. I had to pretend I didn't know, while my hubby and sister were being grumpy about this particular person not being eliminated, lol!!

like all else: it depends. Usually I hate them.
I watched 7 seasons of Castle and was ready to watch the 8, which has finished in the USA bit not here..... and I caught a Stana whatever her name is , Becket, with a video that told me the end of the whole thing!!!!!!!! now there is no point on watching :(
BUT having said that....
sometimes some movie or book makes me nervous I NEED to know some clues or even the end...I aask for them!!!
