Pet Quirks | Pad Patter 6.11.16

Our border collie/blue heeler mix thinks she should go on a ride everyday. Not that quirky I know. But today she must have known she was grounded because I was carrying a load to the car and she snuck out and jumped in the car. I had 3 loads, no amount of coaxing could get her out. She was going. She won over the photographer and I had to wonder who's session it was. Although she paced almost the whole time. She was exhausted on the way home, but they should be some special pics.
I'll have to think of some more of her quirks and the cat's. Tonight I'm tired but wanted to share her determination. I think if she could have fastened the seat belt or hooked her leash she would have just to let me know she wasn't leaving.

our Boston Terrier LOVES crayons. ugh. With 2 kids in the house she gets to enjoy them too frequently. Makes the poo in the backyard fun to look at though. LOL Here's my little beauty

We fostered a Boston once who had a funny habit of jumping at the tv anytime an animal came on screen. It was hilarious at first but then got a bit annoying when you realize how many animals come on the tv. He would jump straight up in the air and block the screen! (the picture shows how high he got - and those are two polar bears on screen!) - and YES that's a jump mid air. can you see how it would make it hard to watch tv? hahaha. didn't do it with people. only animals.

That is hilarious.

We don't have our ancient Siamese Sebastian any more but we always had friends who have a pet sitting business care for him when we traveled. Sebastian was on meds and prone to throwing up periodically. Not much just a bit of slime.
However Donna (pet sitter) always talks about the unconditionally love from animals. Ha! There was no doubt he preferred her to us...lol

When we'd come home from a trip, Sebastian would usually be up on his climbing frame. He'd turn around and look at us, turn back to the window and then finally jump down...walk towards us and throw up.
