Do you look like your avatar?

LOL Carol @ handkerchief one I change it all the time... I have one for Halloween I love, is old but every year (until a couple of years ago) I would do Elphaba and do the whole thing, I painted my whole top parents that could be seen green with face paints, the kind you use for children's first, then I realized it doesn't hold a whole party night so I swapped for theater paints...so that photo is very dear to me.... bit you wouldn't recognize me unless I go traveling as Elphaba!!! LOL
I have a few...and I like changing. I am happy with this one because I look healthy een though is fake tan LOL, but if you look at my LOs...you will for sure be able to recognize me from my LOs photos...even if only by the crutches!!!!!! LOL

 

I look pretty close just missing the makeup and maybe the smile. I'll warn you it will probably change in a month. You can always look for the sparkly glasses but you can't really see them in my avatar. Yeah bestcee's threw me and Cynthia's. Anne's I guess I still picture the old one. There have been a couple others I almost thought were new people as I know some people more by their real name than forum name. It's funny how that happens.

My avatar is the real me. I look better in black and white as then you cannot see how grey my hair is and also the wrinkles in my face don't show so much.

 

Nope! Mine is the top of my head. LOL, so I don't think you'd recognize me at the airport. I am not good at selfies. Every year I say I will change .... but nope, I never do.

I was thinking well Jenn I'd have to recognize by the back of the head and it's not even a good shot of that so it would have to be from a bird's eye view.

 

Guess I need a new avatar. The one I have is not even a year old but my hair is a lot longer now and I have new glasses. I almost never wear makeup in the summer.

Every time we go through Alamogordo I look for Anne everywhere! She is just an hour or hour and a half from me.

 

I would say my avatar is pretty much me. My hair was a little lighter then, and I don't have the red streak right now. That photo was from the beach last year, so I'd been in the sun quite a bit. No make-up in that photo, just a little lip gloss. I hadn't thought to use that photo at all until @AnneofAlamo commented on a layout I did with it and said I should use it lol.

My profile pic is me, from late April, but me picking a "nice" looking picture of myself. It looks like me, but "put together." My hair looks nice (not as frizzy as it can get), my makeup looks fresh (always wear it, but I probably re-touched it), my smile is nice (not lopsided as it can be), my nose looks ok (I have a crooked nose that you probably wouldn't notice, but I know/notice it) and my chin looks nice (to be honest, in some pictures, I dislike my jawline).

After reading this, I'm apparently, very critical of myself, or at least my avatar picture. Plus, even more funny.... this picture is so small none of you would see the things I mentioned anyway!

 

My avatar is almost 3 years old. From a picture from my daughter's wedding, June 22, 2013. It's the best picture that's ever been taken of me. lol. So I keep it. I only look this way on the day that I've had a haircut, highlights, and someone does my makeup for me. My hair is still basically the same, but I usually wear my glasses instead of contacts. I guess I'll keep this picture until a better one happens.

 

mine looks like a a old washed out pot holder, i still have in a box of linens from 1st appartment (its 40 yr old)

 

Yup. That is me. The picture is a year old, so I have more grey now.

 

I laughed when I saw you posted. For you if someone were going to come and meet you all you would have to do is make a nametag with a blue potholder.

 

While my Avatar was taken a year and a half ago, it still looks very much like me. LOL So, yes, I think I would be recognizable. A quick browse through my gallery and you'll see not much changes through the years my layouts take place. hahahaha I'm pretty boring when it comes to my looks. I don't like to change it up at all!
