Rings on your Fingers? | Pad Patter 5.11

It depends, am I scrapping or cooking?

My wedding ring and engagement ring are a set, and soldered together. If I'm scrapping, it sits on my computer. If I'm in the kitchen with messy food it has a candy dish.
Other than that , I wear it on my left hand. Nothing on my right. I have a cool ring that's two hands that open to reveal a heart that I wore on my right hand. I don't remember why I stopped wearing it.

I usually wear my little white gold diamond solitaire wedding ring. I also have a cocktail ring from my grandma. I'm not wearing any rings right now because I'm giving my hand a rest. My ring finger develops a callus from my wedding ring, so I give it a rest until the skin is smooth again.

I'm not really much of a jewelry person. I wear pierced earrings all the time and that's about it.

I don't like the feel of rings on my right hand. I just wear my wedding set.

Ohhh rings!!! I love them so :) I wear them on every finger (except pinkies currently), every day! On my left hand is my engagement ring, wedding ring, and band from my mother-in-law on the ring finger, lapis and turquoise silver ring on the middle finger, big silver and lapis ring on my index finger, and I wear my dad's wedding band on my thumb since he passed. On my right hand is a silver band on my thumb, a big silver saddle shaped ring on my index finger, a turquoise ring on my middle finger, and my favorite is on my ring finger - a chunky silver ring with a turquoise stone that was a gift from my dad. I always say that one is to keep DH in line :giggle

I kept hitting it on stuff.
This reminds me... i used to have a wrist piercing. "Dermal anchor" it was called.
I would continuously hit it on my desk at work. I finally had it removed after I moved in with some roommates that had a cat. When I was moving, I knocked it on something (again) and either got dust or cat hair in it and it got infected. So when the infection cleared up, I had it taken out. I still have a tiny little circle dot scar on my wrist under my fitbit. Lol I've repeatedly thought about getting another one because I thought it was very pretty... but i know that's a bad idea. :giggle

Rings drive me crazy and if I try to wear them I end up taking them off and usually losing them. I finally just stopped trying. I like earrings and bracelets but they have to be silver. I only wear my baptismal cross on a silver chain for a necklace and never take it off except for medical procedures. Gold doesn't suit me. Neither do diamonds. They are pretty on other people but I would ALWAYS rather have something else than jewelry. My mom and sister are always covered in jewelry, especially rings and usually diamonds. Not my thing.

My rings are the only jewelry I wear constantly. They never come off.

Like a lot of people here, on my left hand I have my plain wedding band and my husbands Grandmother's ring for my engagement ring. On my right hand is a smaller ring that was my Grandmothers that my mother gave me on our wedding day. It was from the 1920's. I like it more than my engagement ring to be honest.

I wear 2 rings. My wedding and engagement rings. I have a mother's ring that hubby and the kids got me about 11 years ago, but I've gained so much weight that I need to either have it resized, or lose this weight..lol I'm not big on jewelry. I don't wear bracelets, or necklaces. I have 9 ear piercings, but I don't even wear earrings anymore.

I have 4 rings - a wedding and engagement on my left hand and two on my right hand (middle and ring fingers), I also wear a toe ring all the time. I would love a thumb ring too Anne!

I wear my wedding band which is maybe about 2mm? I always had on my engagement ring too until about 3 years ago when I needed surgery on my hand and my rings needed to be cut off as they were the same size as when I got married...... at the age of 19. I've had my wedding band resized which is why I wear that but my engagement ring I kept trying to decide if I would update the look of it or not, so far I have not done anything with it. I should just get it resized and wear it.
Other wise, I wear a lot of bracelets and earrings but no other rings.

I only wear my wedding rings and if it weren't my wedding rings, I probably wouldn't wear any. They bug me. I almost always take my engagment ring off as soon as I get home because it's constantly bonking on things or when I'm cooking or cleaning or crafting I hate water under them and dont' want them to get hurt or dirty. If I had to do it all over again, I would probably stick with a thin plain wedding band.

I'm a ring bling kind of "gal". I love rings. My DH usually gets me one at Christmas or for our anniversary every year. I'm known to wear anywhere between 13-15 rings at a time, but none on my thumbs, can't seem to get any to fit. I double & triple stack them. Funny, the rings don't bother me, but wearing nail polish drives me crazy at work.

I do take them off at night & put them back on in the a.m. when I'm dressing for work. And I vary the assortment, but will almost always have the wedding ring & engagement ring on. Another ring that I wear is my mother's 25th anniversary ring (given to her by my Dad). She passed away back in 2000, and there isn't a day that goes by that I don't look down at that ring and think of her. She & I had the same ring size. I'm a 4 1/2 on the left hand (ring finger), 5 on the right, skinny, long fingers.

I wear a plain thin-ish band for my wedding ring and that is all - it really isn't lack for enjoying rings - but rather I have big ole fat pudgy fingers that have pot bellies and it is hard to find pretty rings!

I know exactly what you mean. My fingers are the same way!

I only have my engagement ring and and wedding ring... I believe I have thick fingers ,and too many rings will not make my hands look better...
