so I have 3 bands on my wedding finger (left hand) and one on my right.
the one on my right had been off due to weigh gain, but woot is back on and I am so happy about that. I have gold on left and white gold on right (I love silver)
and I wear all 4 all the time.
I love the idea of a thumb ring...but can't find one I love that doesn't feel awkward?
do you wear rings? all the time?

I have three rings on my wedding finger and occasionally wear a ring on my right hand. I was given one my grandma's dinner rings when she passed away recently and I think that will become an everyday ring on my right hand, but it needs to be re-sized first.

I have my wedding ring on my left hand, and a band on the middle finger of my right hand. My grandma had a large cocktail ring that she gave me before she passed away - big and not really suitable for everyday wear, but I didn't want it to just sit in the safe and never get worn. So I took it in and had them take the larger of the diamonds out of it and channel set them into two bands (one white gold, one yellow gold) and then solder the two bands together. It has become just as "necessary" to wear as my wedding ring. I feel totally naked without it.

@lmccandless - how funny we both have dinner rings from our grandmas :)

I wear 3 rings. My engagement ring and wedding band on my left. I have a simple silver wedding band on my right. All on my ring fingers. The engagement ring and simple band were my grandmothers previously.

My grandmother had enough jewelry for an Army, but she always wore her engagement and simple band. No matter what else she was wearing, these were always on.

I even scrapped about them, lol! I forgot which challenge it was for though!

No rings for me. After having Clara, I started having an allergic reaction to gold. My skin would get all red and blistery under my rings any time I wore them. I'll wear them periodically for special occasions, but only for short periods of time. I have hinted for YEARS now that I would either like my diamonds reset in something my skin doesn't react to or a nice, simple, inexpensive, non-gold, band to wear on a daily basis... but my husband never picks up on those hints.

I used to wear 3 or 4 when I was working. A final stop at my jewelry wardrobe was just part of getting dressed every morning. But now that I'm home all the time, I don't wear any.

Just my wedding set on my left hand.

My dad used to give me lots of jewelry as gifts. My mom loves that, so he did it for my sisters and I, too. I had to tell him to stop because I just don't ever wear any of it. I have it all, still (rings, earrings, necklaces). And love it all. I just don't wear it. And if I started wearing any of it, my husband would think something is up... haha!

Right now I'm wearing just my anniversary band on my left hand. My engagement ring and wedding band are a little too snug for comfort. I don't have any other rings that currently fit although I do have an amethyst stone that I'd like to have set in a ring for my right hand.

I don't wear any rings, not even my wedding set. I used to wear them to work, but then as soon as I got there I'd take them off and leave them on my desk all day so I just stopped- rings are just not comfortable for me!

I have 3 rings, my wedding ring, an antique birthstone ring from my great grandmother (a blood stone, the old birthstone for March which has been basically replaced my aquamarines), and a toe ring.

No rings here either. Maybe with some weight loss. I would love to have a mother's ring so I had something with meaning.

I only wear my wedding ring. I used to wear my college ring but then my right hand doesn't like it anymore. For whatever reason, it makes my arm ache anytime I have anything on my fingers or wrist.

I have 3 rings on my left hand. Engagement and 2 anniversary rings that I wear instead of my wedding band. I like them better than the band. They're sparkly.

I wear them most of the time. I take them off a lot. I don't wear them to the gym, or to sleep.

I just wear my engagement ring and wedding ring. Love them.

I only wear one ring...it's my engagement and wedding ring. I only take it off when I'm making something like meatloaf and I have a little dinner bell in the kitchen that was my husband's mother's. (She died 20 years before we were married.) That's where my ring goes and any mail that is for my husband so it would get noticed if I forgot.

I used to wear a very slim twisted gold band on my right hand pinky. It was a gift from my boyfriend who became my first husband and it used to fit on my right ring finger when I was 20 and skinny! I know it's somewhere around and if I find it one of these days I may wear it again.

I have some of those flashy 'dinner or cocktail' rings that I had made in Thailand but who wears such things these days? I plan to leave them to my dil as she loves bling...real bling i.e!

I have my engagement ring/wedding ring soldered together. They are both white gold because gold gold looks horrible on me. I also have a pure silver thumb ring I bought on my first trip to Europe (Barcelona). It is just a plain silver band that I wear on my right hand. I love it and feel weird without it now. Rings are really the only jewelry I like/wear. Tim has bought me several diamond necklaces that are still in boxes in the closet. One of these days, I'm going to take the diamonds out and make a ring with them. He did buy me a pre-engagement white gold channel set diamond ring for Christmas one year that caused all kinds of drama. I used to wear that, but I have misplaced it somewhere. :/

I stopped wearing my wedding and engagement rings 5 years after our wedding, in 2001, when I was pregnant with my first and the rings felt tight. I've never cared to wear jewelry much and didn't get around to putting the rings back on until 5 years later, after my son was born. Then, in about a year or so, I banged my hand while tidying up the playroom and knocked the diamond out of the wedding ring. It has lived in my jewelry box ever since (so nearly decade). Several years ago I decided I wanted to wear a ring on my wedding ring finger again, but not gold or diamonds. I found a pretty ring at a local multicultural fair and wore that for a couple of years until it slipped off while swimming in the river. I soon replaced it with a very similar ring, purchased at the same place, and that's what's on my finger now. It only comes off when I do messy things like make hamburger patties. :) Here's a picture of it I took last year:

I wear a 2mm (I think that's its width but maybe it's 1mm?) white gold band. DH proposed when we were still in college, and I took too many art classes to wear my engagement ring daily. I got used to NOT wearing it. I didn't always wear my wedding band, either, but now I wear it daily.
Years ago DH lost a little bit of weight and promptly lost his wedding band, which was titanium and didn't match my white gold setting but neither of us cared. Now he wears his grandfather's yellow gold band. I'd love to get new bands one of these days, but who knows when it'll happen. I'd rather have a new sofa than matching wedding bands!
