If anyone wants to watch me graduate :)

The strings of flowers are so reminiscent of graduations in Hawaii. This is such a neat use of technology. Wow.

How exciting Jennifer! I think I might have missed it but congratulations on your amazing achievement!!

Congratulations again. I imagine it was a long day. It's so fascinating that Anne was able to get that close to the stage -- LOL. I'm so glad you had a great day.
It's interesting to see the differences in graduation traditions across the world too.

It wasn't just a long day but a warm one too as I had wool, fur and satin regalia on over top of my outfit.

I left home at about 8.40am, had to get a new trencher from the Academic Hire shop as mine was too big and fell off my head, had a morning tea from 11-12 with all the graduates, staff and family from the faculty, I had to be checked in at the venue at 12.45pm, ceremony was from 1.30-3.30-3.40 approx, took some candid class photos with class and lecturers, had a portrait session with family at 4pm, had dinner with family and a family friend who was a surprise from 5-6.30, caught the train home around 8 and was home before 10.

Jennifer!!!!! Congrats!!!!!!! This makes me so very happy!!!!!!! I ll come back with time to watch properly, Congratulations once again!!!!!!

I'll let you know when the video is archived for viewing as there are still 6 more ceremonies next week as there are over 6,500 students graduating.

Kiss the frog.
Jennifer that's a long day. Can't wait to see pics. I thought you looked warm. I don't understand why they have heavy regalia and ceremonies when it's getting so warm.

As far as I know it's English tradition right down to the fact the colours of our hoods are the same as Cambridge University.

Yeah tradition. My gown was heavy material too. It would have been miserable in Virginia in May. It's still fun though

So proud of you, Jennifer. It was a privilege to see you walk across that stage and put your cap on. Thank you for sharing your very special day with all of us. Big hugs to you! :)
