I live in Western WA. About an hour across the Puget Sound from Seattle. It has been raining almost non-stop since November. I am SO SICK OF IT. We have had very few non-rainy or sunny days. I know it's WA, but come on! I've lived here 2 1/2 years, and these last few months have been by far the worst. My dog is over it too. We used to go to the dog park 2-3 times a week. Lately we've been lucky if we can go 2-3 a month.

I used to LOVE rain and clouds, but I'm over it. I love my little town, but I seriously can't wait to move to Colorado. At least I know where we are moving in CO it doesn't rain like this. It does rain, but not for days on end like it has been here. I just cannot stand it anymore!

Oh well there is the problem, you have only been here for 2.5 years. This is the norm about every four. haha We had our sunniest summer on record this past summer so I try not to complain too much about the rain. I can do without the wind and cold that has been accompanying it the past few days though.

Eastern WA here so we have had a few breaks. I don't think I could handle Western WA, the rain gets me down. I'm tired of the rain though. But I am by this time every year.

Shari we lost power for 6 hours last Tuesday night because of the wind. Ugh. Everyone keeps telling me be glad it isn't snow. Well, I have a Saint Bernard and he'd be happier if it was snow! LOL

Carilyne, I hate to say this, but I can see why this state has such a high suicide rate. The rain and gloom is ugh.

Amy how are you doing this morning? It looks like your area is out of power again? It was quite a storm that went through last night. I hope you didn't get slammed too bad. When are you moving to Colorado?

And this would be why we moved from Western Washington to Eastern Washington 7+ years ago. Haven't regretted it for a minute.

yikes!! I live in HIGH desert of New mexico! lol
happy as can be with the sunshine coming thru my windows!

YES!!! I'm so done with the rain. This morning is windy and I can see some sun, so I'm excited about that. But I'm sure that in five minutes it will change back to rain. LOL. It is the worst rain in a long time. Or maybe it just feels worse after last year's drought weather.

Nah, it is actually the worst. Last November and December broke rainfall records and this Jan. and Feb. have been way above our average. I'm so curious to see what type of summer we have because I was not a fan of the dry, hot summer we had last year. Finally had to break down and buy some AC units after living here for 47 years.

It's raining here today and I love it! We have had little rain since Christmas and too many years of drought lately. We've had the hottest start to march on record so love me some rain.
I guess I would get sick of it if happened for months at a time though...

I would gladly go back to the gloom and drizzle of Washington. Instead i'm stuck with the monsoons and tornadoes of Mississippi. I haven't been home in almost 5 years and I miss it terribly.

My brief flirtation with sunshine was doused by buckets and buckets of rain for 90% of the day. LOL. But luckily... the designers have just the thing for our rain doldrums.

Tons of people without power, but my neighborhood lucked out. We never lost power, but we did lose cable/internet for a while last night. Apparently our weather was so bad that it's currently trending on FB right now.

As for CO. Not quite sure yet. We're aiming for this summer, but with hubby being in Canada for a year (for work), it might not be until summer 2017. I absolutely refuse to move the kids during the school year if I can help it.

Last year was considered a drought? LMAO....

All I know is my Saint Bernard is 100% OVER the rain. Poor guy. We have a crappy backyard, so we rely on the dog park to get him socialized and for play time. Unfortunately our dog park is mostly dirt so you can imagine it's not exactly the best place to be right now.

We bought A/C units in 2014. We had to buy one for our Saint Bernard. Anything above 65-70 and he's miserable :( And I finally talked hubby into getting one for our bedroom, because anything above 65-70 and I'M miserable...lmao
