January 23: Photo treatment | Double exposure (Photography Challenge)

love the concept but didn't get the best result that i wanted with my idea but i will play with it more. i think some of the layouts here are awesome uses of the technique

I did pretty well earlier this week to comment on everyone's LO but since we are near the end of the month, I'm trying to stay on top of looking out for any LOs that might need adjustments or to be re-done. I'm up to date to this point, so if you haven't heard from me, then your LO is awesome and is IN! =) I'm soooo impressed by the creativity shown here and at how well you've all done with the technique and I promise to be back with individual comments.

Okay this was so hard!!
I used a photo of the sky I took and a Photo of a nest of hawks I took both at Lake Isabella, Ca while outon a boat we rented.

This was a challenge - trashed many layouts when the photos would just turn creepy... haha

I had a really hard time making my page for this challenge, but yayyy!!! It worked out awesome and
I love love love it!!! Thanks for this amazing challenge!!

Awesome @FarrahJobling- thank you! I have always wanted to try multiple exposure with fireworks photos, and I have several I want to combine. I always thought it would be harder than this, but your directions make it so easy!

I extracted my little guy out of the picture and just clipped the 2nd picture to him and used the overlay blending mode. I Faded the rest of the original photo into the background paper.

This technique was pretty simple. Picking the correct photos was not. Thanks for the challenge because this is one of my favorite LOs that I did for MOC this year and it all evolved from the challenge!

Here's mine:

I ended up just using two fireworks photos for the layout because I wanted to use a small square picture, but I played around in Photoshop and actually combined four into one that I think I will print out!

Challenging - I may need to try playing with this some more. A picture of my Hubby and I on Montjuic in Barcelona & the view from the top.
Using Just Jaimee's February Storyteller.

Here's mine. The red fireworks are in a separate photo from the castle one. We took the photo of the castle right before the fireworks started, so I love the idea of having them together.

I was absolutely TERRIFIED of this challenge. I knew my computer was not going to help me (or it was going to take me too long to figure it out). I looked and my camera doesn't do it (or I just couldn't figure it out); so I downloaded the photoblend app and could NOT stop playing with it
this might be my favorite layout out of all 31 - and it marks my last one for the month! whew!

LOVE this technique. I've done it a few times with other pictures, but I combined two new ones for this challenge - a flower and a stream.
