All MOC layouts need to be created specifically for MOC. If it will also work for an individual designer's challenge, and they're okay with you using it for both, then it's okay, but the MOC page has to come first. For example, if you create your Day 8 page with a template from Cheryl, and then decide to also submit it to her for her challenge later, and she's good with that, then great. But you cannot do a page with Cheryl's template for her challenge on January 12 ( for example) and then decide to use that same page for your MOC page on Day 20. Does that make sense?
Yes it does. I thought it was something like that. It seems that some are muddying the rules. With the designer challenge to do a MOC challenge with nearly all their product it's kinda iffy. Thanks for clarifying
There is no set time for the challenges to be posted - 8:00 eastern is a target, but real life stuff comes first for the hosts. It will be up today, no fear!
I don't see it as iffy at all. You can't create a LO ahead of time, submit it for Amy's challenge, and then some later time submit it for MOC. It wouldn't even make sense for Amy's challenge to do that.
The iffy part for me is that someone could submit a page for Amy's challenge, and a week later realize that their page would work perfectly for that day's MOC challenge, and submit their previously created page for MOC. THAT would be against the MOC rules.
But Amy's challenge is that it must be a MOC challenge LO. So it wouldn't work for Amy's challenge if you didn't submit it for MOC until later.
@lorryfach - Just trying to clarify for everyone to make sure the rules are clear and concise. Sorry, I used a bad example. I should have said Cheryl instead of Amy, but either way, I want to make sure everyone is very clear on what is allowed and what isn't.
Oh phew! Did you see I even included your software Lorry? The worst part is that I was even up past midnight last night AND I was in the forum. I just forgot to post my challenge before bed and then slept in this morning.
Are there any specific rules for being on a designer's CT? Like I am on Cheryl's so can I still use her products for MOC?
@lorryfach -- it can be iffy to me because I see it differently. @mrs2a50 thank you for the help. My point that with Amy's challenge is you can't help but be making the layout for 2 challenges, just be sure you submit to MOC first. It has to be a MOC challenge with her stuff. The question on Cheryl's is "if" you can find a challenge you can use her template for, is it okay to do it for both. You have answered it well. Thank you

Yes, you may use any products currently in the shop to count towards your 75% for the MOC layouts, even if you are on the designer's CT. Templates count as 15%.
I needed to update a layout for one of the challenges. Is there a way to update the layout already posted in the gallery or do I need to post the updated version as a new gallery item?
our gallery is new, and for now, if you would please just re-upload a new one..sorry for the inconvenience. ♥
Sorry, I swear I responded to your message but it's not there. You'll need to upload a new version of the layout. We're working on being able to edit the gallery posts but we're not quite there yet.
I am new here, so forgive me if I am not understanding it correctly, but from what I understand she wants you to pick one of the days of MOC challenges and use her product to make the layout for that day and submit it to the MOC. THEN you can submit it to her challenge for the month. She is letting us double dip, with her challenge being the second scoop. I just submitted my day 3 layout to it (after I posted it in all the MOC places first).
