You can "watch" your thread. There is a "Watch thread" link when you are viewing it. Then you can find it with the "Watched Threads" link above. Or you can bookmark it in your browser the way you bookmark any other webpage.
I am going to put a link to mine in my signature. Go to your thread, copy the url, go to your signature settings. In your signature, add "my moc thread" , highlight, and click the chain link button to paste the link. Not sure if that helps....
Thank you for taking the time to help me. I am still so lost So somehow I have 2 posts in the feed. I don't think I need both of those. Is there a way to delete one? I can't figure it out. And then how many times/places should our layout be posted? Just once to the layout gallery in the challenge forum. I read on this feed to bookmark my feed for easier uploading each day. Is that all I need to do? Just post each layout in my feed? I am brand new and have no idea what I am doing! Thanks in advance for your help!
@Jennifer please post your challenge layout in the thread for the challenge (at the end of the contest, one random person wins a coupon from each challenge), also post it in your own LAYOUT thread, making a new post in your thread for each challenge you complete. They do not have to be in order. You might want to read over these MOC 2016 guidelines for more in depth answers. We are here to help and love that you are here!!
I just had a sinking feeling that my layout today might not count. I used product from Just Jaimee, but it's from her collection of freebies on her website. I can't find the kit in the store. For MOC do the products have to be in the store, or is anything by current designers okay?
1. Upload your layout to the gallery under any category. 2. Copy the third code down, "Share BB Code", from the gallery page with your layout on it. 3. Paste it into the thread for the challenge you completed it for. (I think you're calling threads "feeds"?) Posting here means you might get picked for a coupon. Every challenge will have one winner, so this is how you can win something even if you don't do all 31. 4. Paste it into your own personal thread called "jenniferl75's LOs". This is how they know if you did all 31 challenges or not. At the end, if you've done them all, you will have 30 replies to your original post, and each one has one layout in it.
You did have two threads. I deleted one and renamed the other correctly (with your user name + Layouts) and added your layout. This is your layouts thread now: https://the-lilypad.com/forum/threads/jenniferl75s-layouts.40273/ Like Lorry said, when you are ready to add your next layout, view your layout in the gallery. To the right of the layout image, you'll see SHARE THIS LAYOUT, with several options underneath. Choose the third option down which is "Share BB Code" and copy the code that's underneath there. Return to your thread and paste that code in the reply box, then hit post reply! Hope that helps and we're glad you're here!
That is exactly what I did with mine! so once I post my page linked in the day's challenge thread, I click my name and just paste again to make that day's entry!
How about an MOC Pinterest Board from Lilypad. I created my own, but it would be awesome to see all our work together for the rest of the world...
Someone asked about what time the new challenges will be posted. Since we are all over the world, the times will vary, but it should be up by 8:00 am EST each day. A lot of people will wait until just after midnight and post then too. I will probably be doing that for mine tomorrow... We know that people love to see the new challenge and get on them as quick as we can!
After you upload your layout in the gallery, on the right side there are options for sharing your page. Copy the code for "Share BB [ Img ] Code:" and paste that into your thread.
Somehow last week I got the idea that being from a current designer would be enough. So I have to make another layout for today. It must be a lot of work to check and make sure everyone's layouts are with kits currently in the store. And I'm new, so I only have 2 or 3 kits from the store. I may get more use out of these kits than any other!
Thought I'd get a clarification on the layout made for the challenge. Amy Wolffe's challenge is to do it with mostly her product on one day's challenge. Does that mean we can use Cheryl aka FiddleDeeDee's template challenge on a MOC challenge? Just clarifying before I lose a day.
