I fell in love with Sarahs blog post about bullet journaling, and her link to Ryder Carroll’s Bullet Journal method it was like seeing my handwriting!!

Yay! Just did my first planner pages and it was SO much fun! You'll love it, Anne! Can't wait to see what you do with it!
 
I bought a happy planner today.... :giggle now I have to create a new template to make it all pretty. Lol
 
ahahahaha well, at least you have something to plan...I don't but just got my old `Filofax out and I'm using it as a kind of diary, art journal, all together thing because I just LOVE all planner stuff!!!!!!!!! This one looks gorgeous!!!!!
 
Eeeek!! That's soooo pretty! I am getting sucked into this too. I already bought a happy planner but I want a Carpe Diem too. How can I rationalize this? LOL
 
Just got my Happy Planner int he mail today, dont even know what I am going to do with it yet but you froggys tempted me and now I have to do something. LOL I have never used a planner in my life. Yikes.
 
I have been devouring Bullet Planner videos on utube all evening, and now I have to wait for the planner...but my brain is gonna play in the meantime!

my kids so mock me...
I had a smart phone for about 4 months, (it was a fancy camera that supposedly I could call on) I could not call on it! crazy, it drove me nuts. I gave it back! lol, back to my old dumb phone.
Here are my kids even as I take photos trying to "help" mom

I just got my Carpe Diem in! And yes, it may be my 4th 2016 planner. hmmm... I'm ready, hehe

STOP! This is CRAZY awesome! LOVE IT. I have a few coloring inserts for my Midori. Love them. Now, I must have this. Sigh. LOL.

If you're interested but don't want to spend a lot, I would suggest 2 options.
1) walmart/target what have you usually sells a really cheap pocket planner that you can start with. I think I found a weekly undated one for 88cents.

2) get an inexpensive graph composition notebook and set it up as a sort of bullet journal. These are $1-$2 at Walmart I think. I set mine up to have monthly spreads very quickly, by printing a monthly calendar and cutting /pasting into my spreads. I decorated with washi tape :)

Both options will work for figuring out what you like to keep in your planner, how you like to set it up, how often you refer to it, etc. :) before you start spending money on planners you won't use or like. Tons of planner options, so you have to really know what you like so you don't spend money on useless things. :)
 
What a gorgeous notebook. I love bullet journaling oh so much! You'll have to let us know how it works for you!
 
I think my planner is some weird hybrid version of a traditional planner and a bullet journal. I didn't even know bullet journaling was a thing. Sounds pretty interesting, though! I hope it works great for you, Anne!
