I happily spend a lot of time shopping for friends and family during the holidays, but I am often at a loss to come up with something that I want for myself. So, I am curious...what's on your own wish list this year? The best I can come up with right now is a Roomba. Sheesh. A new low...a vacuum. (P.S. The entertaining cat reviews on Amazon are a very funny time killer.)
Zentangle pens, TLP gift certificates, online (or in person!) art journaling classes. I have a few others written down, I think. Have to check my bullet journal. Lol!
Oh please if you do get a Roomba, will you transform it into DJ Roomba? Just once? For me?
I am so stinkin' practical, I always think of "house" things I want. But I will admit there is a lens I have my eye on ...
I am really rather awful at ideas for myself too. All of mine are usually home related as well. I'd like a new dutch oven or a new crock pot (both have seen better days). But my pie in the sky wish is a new Wacom tablet.
Last year mine was running shoes, and I got them This year I made sure when I wrote down the kids' lists, I also wrote myself and husband. In case he happens to pick up my lists journal to find it.... lol. Indexed and everything
I'm at a loss for myself too. Most of that is cause I dont know if I'm going to be working or continuing to study next year. I've got bits I want to get but not anything that I want others to get.
I am still undecided. I am actually in denial about December being just a few weeks away. I really want a better lens for the camera, but lately I've only been using my phone to take pics, so don't feel asking for that is justified.
Bwahahaha DJ Roomba! Let's see, right now on my wish list I have a linen pillow that has a vintage camera stamped on it, a boxed cheese grater, an olive oil sprayer/mister, a pair of plush flip flop slippers (I mean, hey, it's Florida - I need SOME warmth, just not too much), backup power tower for my desktop, a pencil sharpener that looks like a vintage camera, and a Nikon 50 mm lens.
Sorry to sound mushy sentimental but I want to see my youngest son. I want my oldest son to have a good Christmas. I want peace in my heart with how my life is heading. And I want a New Year to start over. A house cleaner and someone to help set up my budget again would be good.
I want a veggie spiralizer and I want a cute little hanger thingy for my 1/2 marathon medals. I want to show those off (right now I only have one from my race a few weeks ago but I'm already signed up for a couple more).
Back up power tower? I think that's what my computer needs. Lol I could also add one more EHD for off site storage.
My hubby keeps asking me what I want and I'm having trouble coming up with much. I do think I want a mini tripod and holder for my iPhone. When we went on our backpacking trip in September, I used my iPhone for all my photos except the group pictures which I had to rely on my Sister's camera because she had the tripod. And also I want a bluetooth remote to save me from running back and forth to the camera. And then I REALLY want this online painting class... even if I never make this painting, I just want to watch this guy make it:
I never know what I want... there are always a few things, but I never feel like I can justify them. But I would like a Fitbit. My ideal gift would be a family trip somewhere warm. Those are my favs!
Wonderful loving wives for my sons - and a new food processor for me - mine is about 25 rs old and hardly works... LOL.
I have several small, practical things on my list but the main things I want are the Humans of New York book, a camera bag that looks more like a purse so it's less conspicuous that I'm carrying my big camera (my goal is to use my big camera more this next year and I want to be able to have it with me more) and the "toy" I asked for is this... Lensbaby Circular Fisheye
I like to dream and so if I could just choose it would definitely be a nice, comfy computer chair and a Silhouette Cameo. I got the portrait last year and would love to be able to work the Silhouette magic on a larger scale.
After the magic, you worked on this page, I feel like I should be the one to buy it for you! Seriously fabulous scrapping, lady!
