my hair
my boobies :giggle

and physically I can't think about....I dont think I particularly like anything but dont dislike much either....

Love my ability to adapt, the honesty and perseverance I am educating Sarita with....and the fact that, finally, after my 50s...I have developed a gift for listening as much as I talk.. (I swear!!!)

Yay! I'm glad someone was brave and could give us some great examples of self-love. :)

We love you too. :D

My sense of humor.

My new hair cut & that I finally covered up the gray again.

I can multi-task my butt off. Ha! I wish it was that easy! :stars

I am a great listener. - and I seldom offer advice that isn't asked for.

That didn't even take too awful long to come up with. Yay me! :goldstars

I love the color of my eyes. They are blue.

I like that I'm a tough mom. I feel like they will thank me one day... like I have my parents.

I like that I'm more of an introvert. Those who I'm closer with, know ME.

I love the fact that I am not obsessed with my body/shape/size. I'm happy, comfortable middle of the line size person, and couldn't really care less what others think. I do worry how I look at times, or with people I don't know, but I get over it really fast. I will make changes as I see fit, with what I am comfortable with, not for others.

I love the fact that I am an organized fool. LOL!

That was hard, and took me awhile. lol! :)

Kimberlee... you have to answer too! :giggle

I agree!! Kimberlee you have to answer too!

My 5 things. Hmmm...

my hair
my eyes (green)
my "baby face" - which i never appreciated when I was younger. Thought it's catching up with me now, I do appreciate having a young (for my age) face.
the artist in me that is still exploring new thing.

Whew! I did it... that was tough!

I always struggle with these kinds of posts for some reason even though I love and support the idea of them. So *gulp* here goes. Eeep.

  • I have a kind heart. It's a soft heart, but a kind one.
  • I have good taste in music. I love and appreciate all genres so I have well rounded taste.
  • I acknowledge the power of the Tongue and try to carry an awareness of how words impact others. I care a lot about being careful and clear and about building others up instead of tearing them down. Sometimes we can be careless and do this without realizing. I am really intentional about this and care more about "being happy than being right".
  • My passion for memory keeping and documenting my personal and family story.
  • My resiliency. I didn't use to think of myself as "resilient", but living as a military spouse and facing various life challenges over the years I have learned that I am stronger and more flexible, more patient and perseverant than I thought I was.

*slinks back in to box of comfort*

Oy. Why is this so hard? Hmmm...

Ok, I like that I am very crafty and I'm not afraid to try new crafty ventures

I like that I still make time to snuggle with my boys (9 and 11) at bedtime because I know I'm already on borrowed time there.

I like that I am honest, even when it's hard.

I like my eyes. green and blue mixed together.

I like that I am getting more exercise these days.

Crafty.... it's my favorite part of me. And I use it to help others most. (What can I make for them to cheer them up?)

I am a good mum. My son aged 21 thanked me for his upbringing the other day. He is grateful that I had rules and boundaries. We are now very close friends.

I can turn my hand to most crafts and LOVE it!

My sense of humour...I can find something funny in most situations. It's a life saver!

My eyes (a popular choice in this thread which is quite interesting I think)? They are grey and really stand out if I wear blue.

My kind heartedness

I feel kind of stripped bare now hee hee. Feels ok though....I think:blush

I like my eyes..big and dark brown (almost black)

I like that I am a really laid back person.. I don't worry or get upset about much of anything :)

I like that I can have a good time and find fun pretty much anywhere I am at any time, whether it's dancing through the grocery store or singing through a mound of papers at work.

I like that I overcame being seriously shy as a child and now I am a total extrovert who will talk to anyone and everyone.

I like that I am a strong, independent person who knows that, no matter what, I will be ok.

This is something I LOVE about Sarita...even at 19 years old, she still is very affectionate and loves staying in with me watching movies and cuddle up...it gets difficult because she is so big now!!! LOL

this- this- and this again. the world would be a much better place if we were more accepting of others :heartlub:heartlub:heartlub

yes, this, me too, and I think I have managed to teach Sarita the importance of friendship too, which makes me so happy :heartlub:heartlub

I still have good boobs too. More stuff we have in common I guess......:giggle

ohhh I would so so much love to have good legs!!!!!
and yes, we do have a LOT more in common!!!
I haven't reached 60 yet, but all my life I made radical changes , the last very big one in 2005- I mean I changed professions, I did a lot of things to be able to carry on working as a performer first and then when I arrived here, I had to do all different jobs until my skills were good enough to perform in this country....and then because I didn't want Sarita to grow up with me sleeping until 2pm because I had shows the night before...
I'm not too keen on change right now, but if my health was better, I think I would be there with you all the way!!!

OK.......

I am a good mum. My son aged 21 thanked me for his upbringing the other day. He is grateful that I had rules and boundaries. We are now very close friends.

I thanked my parents when I was 23... I have it like a video playing in my memory....one of my regrets is that I gave them such a hard time ...they were and are amazing parents....

Hmmmm

.

this, I need to learn this from you..... especially not getting upset for some stuff that shouldn't really upset me.... I'm getting much, much better , but still haven't quiet reached that good stage....
You know I have admired you in every way possible (almost 6 years now!!!) so probably some of your brilliancy is rubbing on a bit on me LOL :heartlub:heartlub

I am loving loving reading this.... :heartlub:heartlub:heartlub

Hmmm......

I am a survivor in so many ways

I raised a fabulous man-boy (not quite 18), he is my greatest accomplishment

I do not need to be around people to be happy and content

I'm a lefty, no idea why I like that other than it has definitely taught me how to adjust

I seem tough on the outside but if you get close you'll see I am really a softie
