TGIF!!! What do you have going on this weekend??

It really isn't *my* Friday, but I thought I'd see what you other peeps are up to this weekend so I can live my Friday fantasies through you.

It has been a bad overtime week this week. My daughter had to put in over ten hours of overtime. She also commutes an hour each direction, so my days/evenings/time was pretty much eliminated because I was on Kennedy duty 24/7. Also, my daughter's birthday was Wednesday, but she had to work an eleven hour day, so we did a family birthday for her last night. I spent all day yesterday cooking and cleaning and then cleaning again after everyone left. Today I'm wiped out and planning on some relaxation time.

Heading out of town for a High School football game in just a little while. Fall is a bit exhausting on Fridays for us, but fun! Otherwise, the littles have a birthday party tomorrow and I have to clean up the house after a busy work week. Sounds exciting, right?

Not sure totally to be honest. Am housesitting for my grandma while she is overseas so its just me and the dog. I really should get started on my next assignment but not totally feeling ready yet.

My daughter is cheerleading at a flag football game tomorrow + having her team photos taken. I am starting a new job very soon so I need to wrap up some loose ends there + find childcare for my kids. We are also looking for a second vehicle & a place to stay after crashing with friends of ours this past month, so we have a lot to do! DH has to work all day Sunday, so we have Saturday afternoon & Monday while DD is in school to get some of these things wrapped up.

I'm going to hang out and keep recovering from my bout of pneumonia.

My daughter is going to a sleepover birthday party. They're going to go to one of those indoor skydiving places.

My brother-in-law flies in tonight because he, my husband and son are all walking over to Wrigley tomorrow night to go to the Foo Fighters concert.

I'm hoping to get some scrapping done... I'm so far behind on project life!

It is the end of our first full week of school, so I am ready to crash a bit. But, my husband has a rare weekend off and he wants to get out and do stuff hopefully we can compromise a bit.

We did order takeout tonight, tomorrow and Sunday we have plans to use some Groupons that are about to expire, a birthday party, and an impromptu game night with friends (which will be great fun). Sunday is church and then we get up Monday morning and do it all over again

End of the first week of school for us, too and I was hoping for some crash time this evening. DS and his daughter came over and I spent the evening using my Cameo to make little tiny vinyl Star Wars decals for a vape case LOL. We ordered pizza and now I'm really ready to crash! Not too much on the agenda for the rest of the weekend. More company tomorrow and probably head out to dinner somewhere. I'm sure I'll squeeze some scrapping in as well

I am going to catch a clinic at the local hardware store on ways to get rid of moss on the roof. I spent 5 hours on the roof this thursday blowing off pine needles from the shingles and gutters. The moss is horribly thick so I'm hoping for some help with how to combat it. My husband and I picked it all off two years ago and you would never know it to see it now..

My daughter has been in this week so it's been nice. She is making HUGE art work for her apartment wall, so huge that she has to take my car home with her so we can swap back sometime next week. So I got new wiper blades on my car since we're in Florida and it's going to rain this week. We're headed to my dad's today to put together her art work and bring it back here.

Did you know you can PAINT upholstery you don't like? She is the Pinterest queen and when I told her I hated one of the chairs in my house she did some research on what might be done. Silly me bought an almost white, really expensive chair about 15 years ago. It's well made but the dogs/cats did more damage than the two kids ever did. I had zero faith that this would NOT be a Pinterest fail. I figured get a color that I would love, it probably won't actually work. Well, my chair is orange and I LOVE it! Amazing how easy it was to accomplish. Still needs finished but it was just a few hours yesterday to get this far.

Take me out to the ball game, take me out with the crowd. . . .

it's provincials for my son's team this weekend, they won last night 10-5 in extra innings and have two games today. Hoping for wins today so they can be in the 'big show' tomorrow and bring it all home. We're playing an hour and a half from home, may pack an overnight bag as depending on how they do may have to play at 9 am tomorrow. Wins mean a noon game so hoping for that.

Nothing fun this weekend, I'm afraid. Football practice for Tate and Taekwondo lessons for Chase. My son-in-law is having lunch with an old friend from out of town today and Andrea (my daughter) is at the gym, like most Saturdays. Tomorrow we have someone coming by to install a new storm door and ceiling fans in 3 of the bedrooms. Andrew (my son-in-law) just told me that they're planning an Italian buffet for the scout meeting, so I need to whip up something for that.

We're spending our last weekend before school starts on Monday. Dh just bought an XBox One for the family, so he is setting that up. Kids are spending some time out with friends as a last hurrah for summer vacation.
