So, my first Stitch Fix box is on it's way, and I cannot wait to see what it is in!!! Here is a little info about StitchFix:
"Stitch Fix is the first fashion retailer to blend expert styling, proprietary technology and unique product to deliver a shopping experience that is truly personalized for you. Simply fill out the Stitch Fix Style Profile and our personal stylists will handpick a selection of five clothing items and accessories unique to your taste, budget and lifestyle. You can buy what you like and return the rest!"

I hate shopping - for a number of reasons, but I like to still dress nicely - a touch of classic with a touch of trend, and I have heard great reviews on Stitch Fix, so I thought I would give it a try! My box has shipped with a Maxi dress, 2 blouses, a Kut from Kloth pair of skinny jeans, and a crossbody purse! Sounds like 5 great items. And the best part...I get to try it all on in the comfort of my own home! I can see what I can pair with each when making my decisions. And they ship it and give me a return bag to ship back what I don't like. And the $20 styling fee goes towards whatever I buy! Seems like a win-win!

So I want to know - do any of you "StitchFix"? If so, do you enjoy it, have you liked what you have received?

I do! I started back in October and I can't wait for my fix to arrive each month! I hate to shop too and can be pretty hopeless at it when I try. My husband had a work reward trip in Arizona in March where I needed "resort casual" attire. I didn't have a clue what that meant so I just asked my stylist for it! I ended up with lots of great outfits to choose from. Sometimes it is cheaper to keep everything even if you don't want it all because of the buy five discount. There are good stitch fix swap and sell sites on fb to get rid of those items. I just sold a shirt this week that I kept from my first fix. I really liked it, but didn't ever wear it. Someone posted this week that they were looking for it, and offered $50 for it.

I'm not a dress person, but in my last fix I got a dress that I am completely in love with. I think that's another thing I like about Stitch Fix, I try on (and end up loving) things I would have walked right by in the the store.

I would love to see a pic of the purse. I'm in the market for one and it's time to put in my requests for my next fix!

Yay - love to hear your tips and tricks Tracie! So fun to hear that you have had great success - I think I am similar in my hopelessness to enjoy and succeed at traditional shopping - and love the idea of a stylist!

sounds like a great idea ...but not sure it would work with me...I went to the Kate Hudson site which offered similar thing, only is all work out clothes...but you have to click on info so they get "your style" all came back SO wrong for me...it didnt get to the paying and delivering as I saw they didnt "get" my style....but it would be interesting to see if this one gets it....

i think it sounds awesome - can't wait to see what you get :) i have a friend who does it - the other day everyone was complementing her on a shirt she was wearing and she said it was one of her stitch fix items :)

You definitely have to let us know how it goes. I have heard lots of fun things about it.

I love shopping and love finding an unbelievable deal, so this wouldn't work for me.

I'm a thrift store shopper, I like the idea of recycling, reusing, etc.. Plus I'm just too cheap....

I am wanting to try this sooooo bad. I am in the process of trying to lose some much needed weight and my reward is going to be gifting myself a sub to StitchFix. I have drooled over it on pinterest for so long. I hate shopping and with 5 kids I don't have time to shop for myself any more so that was definitely the appeal for me. Keep us updated how it goes. I am always so curious how people actually end up liking it.

I will try to get some pictures of what I get in my first box gals!!! Can't wait - it should arrive on Monday!

I'm with Diane. Tomorrow I'm rocking a Goodwill dress. I paid $3.99 for it and I love it!!!!!

Now, for shoes I'm a big big snob. My favorite shoe store is Cole Haan (outlet store).

I haven't even heard of this but it sounds awesome! Can't wait to see pictures Amanda!

I've heard of subscription boxes, but never Stitch Fix. I'm intrigued. I don't know if it is in my budget... but I will check it out, and would love to see pictures!

Gosh I love technology, what a great product! I hadn't heard of it. Can't wait to share this with my daughter to see if she has!

I have never heard of this, but it looks really intriquing. My clothes are so boring and I hate shopping because i just don't know what to look for. So, I basically end up living in jeans and tops which aren't always the best choices for work everyday.

it sounds like such a cool idea and i can see how beneficial it would be to a lot of women. the website is so creative (love it scrolls to peek at the woman looking into her closet)! if i had a job outside the home, maybe i would consider it, but right now i can not imagine spending $ on 5 pieces of new clothing every month just for me. i am way too frugal for that. now if they had this for my teens i would love it ... usually don't like shopping with them. this would solve all of our problems!

i too am curious about the rough cost per month (say, if you bought the 5 pieces at the discount price) though???

i'm like Dalis .... i love to hunt for that bargain.

Not me, but I enjoy looking at blogs with women showing their box stuff. All of the garments are way more than I'd ever spend, I'm a cheapo. :giggle

I'm in the frugal camp right now, too.. I'm also in the love to shop on my own camp, and the like to try new things camp.. So I think this could be really fun.. Maybe signing up for once every 4 or 6 months - something like that that I could maybe set aside some cash each month to save up for it (let's not lie, I'm not going to save money for clothes each month, lol..) It's definitely something that's on my wishlist to at least try a time or two for the great magical "when" I can do things for fun that I normally wouldn't.. ;)https://the-lilypad.com//www.pinterest.com/pin/create/extension/
